I wonder, what was the occasion for this gorgeous pic of Adam. Also,I just saw an instagram of Terrence in Abu Dhabi....it gets very confusing when there's no date for the actual pic. Terrance is in LA. He was in Abu Dhabi and Dubai , where he worked for the Hamilton musical. He returned to LA the day before Oliver left for Sydney.

I am pleased that this vocalist is very impressed with Adam with Queen. I also agree that seeing them in concert is a wonderful opportunity. HOWEVER, I am so tired of people comparing Adam to Freddie and saying that no one can compare, but he does a good job. This guy goes further and talks about how similar Adam's singing is to Freddie's. WTF??? No, Adam's voice is NOT similar to Freddie's. 1. Freddie was a high baritone. Adam is a high tenor. 2. Freddie can sing lower than Adam. But, Adam can comfortably and reliably sing higher than Freddie (tenor, right?). 3. Adam's vibrato is quite different from Freddie's. Slower and more controlled. 4. Adam's tone is quite different from Freddie's. To me, Freddie sounds more astringent and strained. Adam's, while it can be bright, is not brittle. His voice has more harmonic richness. It has a purer, more ringing, resonant sound. 5. Adam's breath control is stronger and more managed. 6. Adam's technique is much more developed, controlled, and consistent. Very rarely does his voice crack, or miss a note. His passaggio (shift from chest to mixed to head voice) is smoother without discernable breaks. 7. Adam can sing every Queen song in the catalog live, in the original key and with all the highest notes. Freddie couldn't. 8. Adam's voice is healthy. Freddie's often wasn't. IMHO, Freddie as the best singer in rock/pop music is largely a myth. Increased since his death. Yes, he was good. And his composing skills are legendary. His stage presence was huge. Taking nothing away from his legacy. But, please stop comparing Adam to Freddie as a second-best stand in for Freddie. I so agree with what you wrote! But I‘ve one question (no idea, if you know the answer): I watched another video where Adam‘s and Freddie‘s voices were compared. To my and I think everyone’s surprise it showed that Adam‘s lowest notes that he sang live are actually lower than Freddie’s. While Freddie’s voice in general sat naturally lower, Adam can sing lower than Freddie? This had puzzled me years ago and I‘m still wondering, if it’s really true? Maybe because Adam hardly ever uses his lower voice. youtu.be/v1MivyMbKwE?si=-YrfWQFlcKskRJCu (I‘m not sure, that’s the right video(I‘ve seen so many over the years).

I‘m regularly in Denmark and my cousin even moved there (from Germany) about 20 years ago. It’s a nice country with mostly happy and liberal people. But it’s also a very small country and therefore very protective of its history and way of life. Some years ago I also thought about moving there, but as a German (or also other countryman), who wants to immigrate, you will see that some Danes are suddenly not that friendly anymore and some I would call openly racists. I know, you can find some of them in every country, but since Denmark is so protective of its heritage (for instance, if you moved there, until recently, you had to take on a typical Danish surname!), I found them there more noticeable than in most other countries I‘ve visited. Denmark is a rather small though (only -5mio population) and most people are really friendly and open-minded. But in this small world I‘ve never so far seen someone dressed like Oliver. And we all know, how some people react, when they see/meet someone, who doesn’t fit into their view of the world. Having been born in Germany, and moving to the US when I was 13, I can understand a little bit the desire to preserve your country's history and way of life. The Germany I left is not the Germany now anymore...at least the part I was born in is now a melting part of different cultures and the result has not necessarily been a happy one (according to my relatives that still live there). Unfortunately, sometimes changes bring out the worst in people. I agree in general. But I also think that the Law of Jante says exactly, what you might experience in Denmark or Norway, if you stay a little longer and try to get to know some people a bit better. „You‘re not to think you‘re as good as us.“ is one especially questionable law.

Denmark is my family's homeland on my mother's side. I have never been there, but I have always viewed it as a beautiful, liberal country. Interesting that Oliver gives us a different side of this when it comes to treatment of gays. And that Law of Jante is pretty scary. I hope he has a good time with his family and friends. My guess is that he will dress a bit to provoke a reaction. We'll soon find out. Adam join him after the Voice stint is over, I assume. Re this post from yesterday’s thread: x.com/weholove/status/1767013263529963710?s=46&t=FRhvVbs9OZwKJqMgTXKbcwI was wondering, where the picture is from. I thought it was on The Wild‘s Instagram account. But it’s not. Or no longer? I also looked at Adam‘s and Oliver‘s IG,, nothing. Then I looked at the other posts of The Wild. There is no picture of Adam anywhere? You can find the other owners, Roger, Sarina and the other co-owner (I don’t know the name). But not Adam. I‘m sure there had been this picture of the group and also some pictures with Oliver from different weeks. Or not? Then I looked at the follows and was really surprised to see, that Adam doesn’t follow The Wild anymore and vice versa. What happened? I haven’t heard anything. But it’s weird that there’s no connection at all between Adam and The Wild on social media. Only Oliver seems to still be very much involved, because he’s apparently still hosting Friday night‘s Venom, at least when he’s in the city. Roger’s wife Sarina is still very active in reposting The Wild‘s posts and stories. Does anyone here know more?

stampsgal Oliver had been to Taylor Swift’s concert last year in LA without Adam. Oliver wore Adam’s „Queen Will Rock“ T-shirt. It was the day after JustJared had published the paparazzi photos of him and Adam and they had gotten a lot of negative comments. Now that Oliver for the second time attended a Swift concert without Adam, it’s probably safe to say, that Adam isn’t a fan of her music. 🫣😂

Interesting about The Voice filming schedule. If it doesn't start up again until May/June, I wonder if he'll have new music to promote by then? Do we have any official information about this year‘s filming schedule or when the show will air? Because last year the finale had been in October, but the year before in May and before that in August. Most of the times it was in June/July. So it’s very hard to predict, when Adam has to be back for filming.

So the big news is that Adam is a coach on The Voice Australia! 🥳
Filming starts in less than 2 weeks, on Feb 18th, so Adam will travel from Japan directly to Sydney.
