Killer Queen lolly for me -- and just a heads up, I will be available to provide counseling services after the show. We can have a group counseling session hug-fest and sing-along!

I am going to see them one more time!!
It will take a 12 hour journey on a night train there, and back again the day after. But I don't care! My family has declared me totally crazy. I don't even know what my boss is going to say when I tell him I need another day off. But I don't care. Queen, Adam! Here I come!
I did this last summer after seeing QAL in Vancouver. I ended up flying across the country for 24 hours to see the second Mohegan Sun concert, and it was worth every penny! Have a wonderful time!!!

Like Cassie, I have a great deal of experience with bronchitis. I'm a singer who also has asthma. I have probably had a case or two of bronchitis every year of my life, and I can usually tell from the first nasty cough what it is. With proper medicine, rest and lots of fluids, Adam should bounce back quickly. Since he is such a highly trained vocalist, he knows how to take care of himself and his voice (thank God). I feel for him and the rest of the band, too--but it happens to everyone and Adam is probably even more determined right now to get better quickly! Plus, I am sure he is bored out of his mind...

Nikki -- YES -- he is confident without being arrogant. Not everybody knows the difference, but you can see a great example of it in Adam. It's what makes him so special. As he gets older and has less and less to prove to others, I can imagine that he will develop much of the same Zen attitude that Brian seems to have most of the time. His presence just keeps getting bigger on stage, which is amazing to watch.

Betty --
Thank you for your terrific recaps! I am so glad you were able to see that show in Hamburg--it sounds like it was really special! And just so you know, when the day's posts go up about 10pm Pacific Coast Time in the United States, I know I will always want a snack after looking at your cakes because they always make me hungry!
