I have actually done some work with the Enneagram and have a book on it (in storage at the moment, so I will have to go digging for it!). It would be interesting to know what point on the Enneagram Adam most closely resonates with--I am a 2-3 and my sister is definitely a 1. In psychology and spirituality the points usually refer to personality traits and are an interesting method of thinking about personality. I am kind of excited to see Adam using this as part of his tattoo because it speaks to the fact that he is a deep thinker who is interested in psychology, spirituality and thinking about how personality affects how we act in the world. Very cool--I also like geometric tattoos and would love to know more about some of the other symbiology incorporated into it.

I was also a long-time Queen fan before Adam, and I know there are quite a few of us here *waves* -- I actually cried when I was 25 feet from Brian May in Vancouver this summer! Seeing Queen live was one of those things I thought I had missed completely, so Adam and Queen has been a fulfillment of a dream in a number of ways. After that concert, I decided to fly across the country for less than 48 hours to see them again... Amazing. And Talon, I love all your Queen knowledge--it puts mine to shame!

My soul is GREEN! Some of the questions were actually not that easy because I could have picked 2-3 of the answers, which is either a sign of wisdom, an analytical mind or over-thinking a silly quiz.
I believe that Adam has a wonderful capacity for stepping into new situations which will challenge him and help him grow in new ways. I think this is one of the many admirable qualities he possesses that intrigue so many of his followers and fans. He has grown tremendously through his association with Brian and Roger, and it is a huge compliment that Queen considers him a member of the family. While Adam is primarily a solo artist, it is important to remember that he truly values and enjoys working with others. I understand this because I am the same way--I have no problem doing my own thing but really like working with others and learn a lot from those experiences. I agree with those who feel that his association with Queen can only be good for his solo career, and I can't wait to hear how this partnership influences his new music!

Q3 said: Adam will only become a major star if he does all these different things -- Queen, TV, hosting, advocacy, fashion and his own solo work. In any case, it is his life, his career, I am just glad that I am along for the ride.
I completely agree with you, and remember that Adam has said many times that he likes to keep busy. I think that because he is very smart and likes a music, acting, fashion, etc. that he is interested in many areas of these fields and is wise enough to expand his interests so as to maximize his potential. Also, he's said "it's not that deep", and I think he wants to make a good living with integrity and also have fun along the way. Just focusing on "his" music probably wouldn't be fulfilling enough for him--for very long at least.
I am also glad to be along for the ride and can't wait to see what happens next!

I love Hump Day with Adam Lambert. I just wish I were better at the sliding puzzle. You and me both . . . now I feel better about giving up halfway through in frustration.

Why Adam's shoes are red soles? I'm just curious. it means something in the world of fashion? Ladymasarati8 -- The red soles mean that they are Louboutin's, a high-fashion (and very expensive) brand of shoes. They are known for their red soles. Here is the link to their website: us.christianlouboutin.com/us_en/Lots of famous people wear his shoes. If you look at fashion photos, you will see women and men with those red soles. Adam has a number of pairs--including his studded boots and a few pairs of shoes.

Just my two cents... I really think that Adam's Halloween costume was based on the character of Columbia in Rocky Horror. In the movie, she wears an outfit that looks a lot like Adam's and in one scene has the same slicked down hair and side curls as well (although I couldn't find a good picture of that). Here is an image of Columbia: The only thing Adam wasn't wearing was the top hat--and I think he wanted to show off his "crusty side curl" - HA!

I was at the store a couple of days ago and saw the Halloween stuff back to back with the Christmas stuff--that is just SO wrong. I'm with Hoppers--I don't want to hear Christmas music until after Thanksgiving! Of course, it's always Adam season (had to work a reference in there somewhere!).
