DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!! Sexy, sexy man. I keep trying to put into words how he looks in these photos (to me), and I truly can't think of anything -- and I am a former English major and a true word person. He looks more exotic somehow with the beard, and in the photos from yesterday he looked very masculine but also very huggable and cozy. Sigh.

Okay, so I just found out that the Wendy Williams show isn't even on any local stations in Seattle -- only in Yakima (town in Eastern Washington). Wow. Fortunately, I also found out that BET carries it so I can watch it on cable. The things we do for Adam!
On another note, Glittergma -- I hope that you stay well and strong--you are in my thoughts!

I would not be at all surprised if Hans Halveron designed the tat for Adam..... I actually tweeted that same sentiment last night. Great minds think alike! I was immediately fascinated by this tattoo, as it is really intricate and beautiful. It truly is art. I wouldn't put it on my body, but then again, it's not on my body. I look forward to seeing it in person someday and maybe hearing more about all the symbolism. #itishisbodyandhecandowhathewants BTW, Dermablend was originally developed as a make-up to cover scars and such. It is great stuff and will cover just about anything.

I just saw this -- I'm a big Drag Race fan and love Latrice Royale! She is truly fierce and extremely funny, too. She and Manila were one of my favorite duos on All Stars and I was sad when they were booted off too soon. I'm not surprised Adam loves her--she is big, beautiful and totally comfortable with who she is. She has really overcome hardship to get where she is and really embraces life and love.

Hi again everyone! Sorry it was late the time I posted last night and gone to bed. But now I got my caffeine fix and I'm wide awake! Thank you all for the warm welcome! It's really heart warming. It's my first time to join a fandom but I'm in love with the man since Feeling Good week in AI. I actually didn't watch or heard of him until I came across a you tube video montage of my favorite tv series Smallville. The video used Mad World as the background song and I even forgot about what I was watching because I got hypnotized by the heavenly voice on it. I read the comments and I found out the name of the Artist(Adam Lambert) and because I never heard of him and I don't watch AI I google him. Then the google searching sent me to his Satisfaction you tube video and oh my god, what the hell? I couldn't believe my eyes and ears as I repeat playing it. Then I downloaded all the previous episodes of AI that I missed up until Feeling Good that I almost had a premature cardiac arrest when he was at the bottom 2... since then I'm a fan and I love it;) Hope I didn't bore you all with my story hehe Good day y'all... WELCOME!!!! And no, you are certainly not alone! I remember watching Ring of Fire on Idol and thinking how amazing Adam was as a singer (I am a singer and seriously jealous of his breath control) and what a wild song choice he made! Love that man -- and now you are among friends who completely understand your obsession!

Aleksandra and all our foreign friends --
I always think that Thanksgiving is an interesting holiday here in the US because it is one of our few truly NATIONAL holidays and the one that is celebrated by the most people traveling to be with one another. Thanksgiving is the busiest travel time of the year. I have been lucky to be part of a variety of Thanksgiving dinners, from the traditional dinner with the family to dinner with a few friends along with a bunch of strangers. One of the most memorable of the "friends and strangers" Thanksgivings was when I visited a friend who had dinner with a bunch of her work colleagues (none could go home to the family). We had food from a variety of cultures, including the BEST homemade ravioli in meat sauce ever. The man who brought it said it was his Italian grandmother's recipe. We also had mini stuffed pumpkins and some really unusual stuffing that I can't remember much about except that it was good.
This is all to say that the US is so diverse that we have very few days where the entire country celebrates together, and this is one of them. Of course, I know a couple of people who just stay home by themselves, too (there are always a few). It would be interesting to do a study sometime on the food our diverse culture prepares for Thanksgiving dinner. It would be fascinating (to say the least!).
Of course, in our country Thanksgiving day is followed by "Black Friday" -- the biggest shopping day of the year. I just stay far away from that craziness. On TV they have been showing people who have been camping out in front of some stores for 2-3 days already so they can get a 40" TV for half-price. Wow. Lots of people buy into the commercialization of holidays here, but I continue to fight against it.
Blessings and good thoughts to all Atopians around the world! Have a great day whatever you do! Now it's off to check my mom's birthday cake (her birthday is on Thanksgiving this year). So we get pie and cake today! Woo-hoo!

To all who are celebrating: I am thankful this year for my family, my friends and the opportunity to be with my family for the holiday. I am also thankful for having a roof over my head, food to eat, the opportunity to go back to school and of course, for everyone here! And I am thankful for Adam and the wonderful influence he has on so many people around the world!

Yay , I'm loving these adam questions .......let's see , what more do I need to know .... Does Adam really hate cats ? Or is he just allergic to them ?? ( I know , stupid question , but , ya know , I gotta know everything , hah !!) He is allergic. And, since I am, too, I can say from experience that it is tough to love something that when you cuddle it, makes you sick and miserable. Before I developed my allergy, I always wanted to hold and pet cats, but they would shun me completely. Since I have become allergic, they want to be my best friends, and I have had to be rescued a few times. Can't touch them, can't sit in a chair they sat in, can't even touch my clothes that were in contact with said chair without setting off symptoms, even hours later. I imagine that Adam, like me, likes cats from far, far away. Cats always seem to like people who have issues with them. My mom is very allergic to cats and dogs and actually takes shots so she can be near our pets when the family gets together. Funny story -- we had a cat when I was growing up who hated almost everybody, and of course she came right up to my aunt who is scared of cats and rubbed on her leg and purred loudly. My aunt said "she's growling at me--help!" and we had to pull the cat away -- then just laughed and told her the cat just loved her! I prefer to think that Adam would love cats if he could get close to them. My story and I am sticking to it!
