bamafan You inspired me to once again try to update my fan club membership. This time it finally worked! All I wanted to do was give them my money because I knew my membership had run out. I've tried a couple of times recently and they don't make it easy! Where do I find the section where Adam was answering fan's questions?

Hard to believe that it was just a year ago this evening that I was in the Rogers Arena standing with about 18,000 people enraptured by the Rhapsody Tour!!

I do applaud and support Adam's efforts and I believe them too. Just wish the leaders (Not Adam) would come up with a more genuine slogan than Defund Police. There must be some smart minds out there who can do that. Yesterday I mentioned an article I read that used the word, Re-think the Police. I immediately thought that sounded like a better phrase.

Happy 4th of July! Weird times! We are half way through 2020 and it is reminding me of that curse that says "May you live in interesting times." A few weeks ago, we were talking about a better phrase for Defund the Police. I saw one in my newspaper recently that was Re-think the Police. It was in an article about the obvious need for police for violent and property crimes, but their role in mental health matters should be reviewed. I really like "Rethink Policing" - first it makes it about what situations they respond to and behaviour rather than making it personal and about $$. I worked on something similar many years ago when a local org was trying to get an ageing coal-fired power station mothballed. Their slogan was "shutdown Hazlewood" which only served to open up discussions about jobs and power supply questions. Changing the slogan to "Replace Hazlewood" made the discussion about how and the benefits. It also forced the naysayers to defend why keeping one of the world's worst polluting power stations was a good idea - they couldn't. The power station has since been closed. Yes, the power of words! No wonder advertising companies get paid big bucks! And congratulations that your activism got something accomplished that is good for the environment. Activism is definitely not easy!

OT Friends of mine left for Vegas this morning with her 21 year old step daughter (his daughter). He's an air marshal so he's been flying this whole time, hasn't had any problems. He had to quarantine about 2 months ago when he got back can't remember what country it was. He says planes are the cleanest place in the world nowadays lol. I'm really interested to see what she has to say when they get back. He says their are still flights going to the EU. Not sure under what circumstances. Back to Adam! Gorgeous new pic woke me right up this morning! I don’t think planes are the problem as much as the passengers! Adam - Always nice to read comments from interviewers and others about what a genuinely nice guy he is. Talking about flying. In Canada, I'm seeing more headlines of authorities contacting passengers who have been on flights with positive case people. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/passengers-on-4-flights-landing-at-yvr-warned-of-possible-covid-exposure-1.5635164

I am also feeling nostalgic as I realize three of my QAL concerts have happened around this time. I've actually only seen Adam perform with Queen. Due to circumstances, I haven't been able to see Adam do his solo music. One day ... The first time I saw Adam perform was June 28, 2014. It was wonderful to see QAL posters on the telephone poles and to think that Adam and I were in the same city and that I could possibly bump into him. I had just made contact with mszue in person and I met fiercelier that day. Fun fans!! Also Jablea found me in the arena and introduced herself. It is so nice to meet in person!! I was blown away by the concert. The noise was thunderous and the water shook in my water bottle! I loved, loved Adam in his gold fringe outfit singing Killer Queen on the chaise longue. Still my favourite! July 1, 2017 (Canada Day) I flew in a float plane harbour to harbour -- I was like a little kid anticipating the ride of a life time! Way too many people in downtown Vancouver, so we watched the fireworks from Queen Elizabeth Park. July 2 was my second QAL concert. This time we had better tickets and it was so nice to be that much closer to the stage. I came out of that concert singing Spread Your Wings and feeling like I was flying again. I have no idea why they dropped that song soon after. I am very grateful I had a chance to see him perform it live. (Not a fan of the red hair though.) July 10, 2019 Just last year and how things are so different now! It is weird because I'm pretty sure I picked up a nasty virus on that trip -- public transit or hanging out with a roaring crowd in an arena or somewhere else? I ended up with a fever and a horrible cough that lasted a month or more. Foreshadowing?? Well, the show was still worth it! In this time of self-isolating, it is really nice to have all these wonderful memories. Sniff:: that was the 2nd and last time I saw Adam. Once solo GNT and then first round of QAL. Haven't left my town, and hardly my house, it seems since the start of 2017 so this quarantine biz is just normal life. The 2014 concert however seems like just yesterday. Gee, are you still taking care of your Dad?

Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians! This is going to be a very boring Canada Day! Usually, they get a crowd of people in red and white T-shirts in front of the Legislature Building to make a human flag and take a photo. Follow up that with an all day concert, ending in fireworks which we always go to see. Lots of people milling around and having a good time!! Not this year. Boo! However, as satisfied said, I am feeling grateful. Happy to live in Canada and happy to follow Adam's career on Adamtopia!
