I will do that when Adam is safely in Finland...Being political is easy when you're home sitting at your computer. What Adam is courageously doing is going into the mouth of the dragon.. I'm not going to help stir up any controversy at this point. Just my opinion for what it's worth.IMHO Milonov is looking for scapegoats and looking to further his ambitions.. He can interpret OOL in any way that will help his cause. I also don't want to make it hard for concert goers who may be afraid of being at Adam's gig.From what I have read there were about 80 arrests of people at Madonna's concert.I will work like a dog for justice after Adam leaves.. The Russian government allowed Adam to book this concert in St. Petersburg, Russia, knowing full well that he is gay...where is this idea coming from that he's in danger somehow? As for OOL it's clearly about the LGBT community. "They say we'll rot in hell" is almost a direct quote from every bible beater/anti-gay person on the planet. I do think he'll sing the song though and I don't believe he'll have any issues doing so. Madonna is controversial just for the sake of it and I have no doubt that the 80 people arrested weren't arrested for merely being pro-gay rights. I want yet comment this: " The Russian government allowed Adam to book this concert in St. Petersburg, Russia.......". Russia doesn't necessarily function that way. We Finns know very well that the local authorities don't always care what The Russian government says. And nobody cares..... :-S. I'm not saying that he is in danger, but it is unnecessary to provoke them. |

I have never visited Russia, but a lot of my friends have and they have experienced there many very awkward situations. |

Re: the possible surprise at Helsinki gig I read a while ago that Niko (Sauli's friend) promised to arrange a hell of a party of Adam's gig. He will be DJ at the after-party, but maybe he has something else on his mind too. You never know. He was one of the dancers in the group Scandinavian Hunks. It consists of 16 (?) Finnish men, who dance and strip. Oh I LOVED Zac!! I enjoy Brian too though - he just LOOKS so damn cool!! Haha! Hey...does anybody know what happened to the Swiss drummer? He was there for a performance or two and then "poof" So odd...did I miss the discussion on this? Also...any tweets about the attendance today? Good crowd? Swiss drummer disappeared. My guess is that maybe he did not "gel" personality wise. But I am only speculating! I'm on page 14 and don't know if this has been discussed further already, but I remember that he had visa issues and Adam had to take another drummer for his gigs back then. |
