had to check in to see what Junie has posted for our thought of the day.................. On the spiked shorts, will have to go back and study that some more, I admire your dedication to the prospect.......... Tatoos ~ I have one that I reluctantly got to placate my dh, it is in a place where I never have to see it. It shut him up after several years of trying to coax me into getting one, they are obviously not my thing. Dh, on the other hand, served in the Navy, and didn't get his first tatoo till he was in his 40's, and he is a biker, so his tats are biker and military service related. My son that is 31, is working on a full sleeve at the moment. IMO, tatoos are art, and they are symbolic of what is important in one's life, and to some they are addictive, you can never have quite enough of them. To Adam, they are symbolic, so can't wait to see the actual tatoo, and to hear what it means to him and why he chose it. Not wanting to see tats on his chest, though. I imagine the water or bubbles or whatever is coming out of the woman's mouth is what adds the length. I am expecting something beautiful. Nothing big, black, and gawdy! There is a Hans Haveron photo on twitter that could be it. It is beautiful   very intriguing. I wonder if this is it? If so AFL ninjas are supreme. Must admit, I'd rather see a mermaid on his arm. |

I downloaded this, but it won't play, says "Window Media Player" is not compatible, I can't watch!!!!1 \ Help? Are there YT of this yet? I put it in iTunes and I had no trouble watching it. thanks adamrocks guess I am screwed, I don't have itunes on my new laptop yet, guess I have some work to do............ |

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, I enjoyed mine so much I didn't even turn on the computer for 4 days!
Enjoying all the beautiful poetry and birds here. There is one that landed in my yard a couple of years ago that was really amazing. I have a pic of it, but it is in my email system and I would have to find it and load onto photobucket to post here, so it will not happen.
We have migratory birds that come through here every year. One is a flock of black birds with yellow breasts and a white stripe on their wings, they are here for about a week every year. We also have swallows that come every year and one pair of them builds their nest on a wire above our back door. They don't seem to mind it opening and closing dozens of times every day.
I'm pretty sure they are the same birds, as they rebuild this same nest every year.
And we have wild turkeys out in the pasture.
I saw the movie "The Big Year" last night that mika wrote so eloquently about. It was a good movie with a great message, thanks mika for writing about it, because without your commentary and analogy, I probably wouldn't have watched the movie.
One of the things I love about Atop and the people here, is all the great and wonderful things I learn and see, that I never would have been exposed to, if not for this amazing group of Adam lovers.
Thanks Adam, and thanks to all of you here.
