Best recorded song: This is a hard one, there are so many but if I have to choose it would be "Nirvana" Best Live Performance: Toss up between WLL Fantasy Springs 2010 or WLL Foxwoods 2010 but leave me quite drained, if you know what I mean LOL Best Cover Song: "Wildest Moments" even though we didn't get the entire song Best Queen Cover song: Its a toss up between STL Toronto 1 or WWLF Best Fashion Statement: Agree with Cassie the long walk down red carpet in Shaghia Funniest thing Adam ever did: "My Dreidel spins the other way.

You know, I don't care whether Adam can sing higher, or tour better or whatever. For me that's the same discussion about what Freddie could do better. They're both incredible performers. I am very very sad that I didn't get to see one of them live. And so amazingly happy that I have seen the other (and will see him again)! Can we please get back to posting pictures of Adams knee, listing what new songs we would want on the upcoming leg of the tour, reflect on the light that Adam brings, speculate about A3 (there must be more mashed potatoes to be gotten from Adams mysterious IG pics), where Adam is (LA? Or some exotic holiday destination?), find out about Adams place in the current music scene, swoon about his perfect rock n roll hair, anything but 40 year old Queen touring schedules? What she said.

Just want to say.....I'm getting dizzy reading all the messages about Adam and what his career path will be, whether QAL was the right road to take, suppositions about his next album, apprehensions about him ever equaling the fame and legacies of Elvis,MJ etc, etc and ad infinitum..... All I know is this: I live in North County, San Diego, and every week I take the bus to downtown San Diego to have lunch with my daughter and volunteer in my grandchildrens'classrooms. I look out the window as I ride on the bus and pass the freeway signs that say Rancho Penasquitos, {the city where Adam grew up and lived in till he was 18,} and Mount Carmel,{the high school Adam attended.} I have the biggest grin on my face every time I see those signs,{ I know, fellow passengers must think I'm a bit CUCKOO !} and I think to myself----Once upon a time, a darling little boy went to school here, grew up here performing in local theaters, had dreams of being a singer which he insisted, would make him "a happy man if I could do this for the rest of my life." And now, here he is ,doing exactly that, and if Adam is happy in whatever choices he makes,as he sings his heart out for the masses, I am thrilled for him and will be thankful always, for the joy he has brought into my life-and for others all over the world.Thank you, Adam, from the bottom of my heart. What she said so beautifully.

I finally found time to register and vote for QAL as Group Of The Year. Since I had to vote for all other categories and I have not kept up-to-date on what is "new in classic rock" (isn't this a contradiction?), I went to listen to YouTube records of all groups proposed for Newcomer before voting. The result: I voted for and became a casual fan of a bluesy group called NoSinner. Then I also realized they are from Vancouver! I might even go listen to them live in November. I just wish they weren't playing this close to "Zombieland" on East Hastings (true fact, I just mistyped it as "Nastings", Freud anyone?) Here is their first song I found that informed my vote: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIhDILaxLxwShe is terrific kryptoman...thanks for posting....I am just on Salt Spring so perhaps she/they will trek to Victoria sometime as that is far easier for me to go to.... Love her sound, you might also like Ivy Levan, Adam tweeted about her a few months ago, loved it so much that I purchased some of her songs from Itunes.

OT Melliemom after reading this I went straight to ITunes (Barbara is my favorite female singer of all time) to listen and to purchase this album, but I was stopped in my tracks with the first song "It Had to be You". That was my wedding song, (my husband past away 17 years ago) I caught my breath and started to cry. I had a wonderful marriage, we had our ups and downs but always respected each other. I miss him so much, sorry don't mean to be a downer, but just had to get these feelings out. I should probably just delete this but I can't. Thanks Adamtopia and all the wonderful people on this site, you have given me many days of laughter, I just had to share this with all of you. Sorry about your loss but feeling happy that you got to hear Barbra sing your wedding song.Thank you for sharing with us,what are friends for. Yes, I'm happy that it was the first song on her album - I actually didn't have this song on my Ipod and hadn't heard it in a long time, I guess that's why it hit the way it did. Bringing it back to Adam, would love to hear his interpretation on this song. Hell would love to hear his interpretation on all of my favorite songs. LOL
