But now try going anywhere you need the membership, like "Events" or "Forum" -- the page just keeps trying to load but failing. Does that happen to you, too? No I was able to open any of the tabs ..but was unable to close the mailing list request box..

You know how we are always trying to understand the Queen fans' issues by saying if Adam was replaced by someone else singing his songs...yada yada? Well watching this made me realize that others can really honor a song and it's original artist in a beautiful way. Adam has left his mark across the globe. Some day I can only hope Adam's musical legacy will beseen as worthy to be recreated by the next generation. This performance was lovely. And nice on-screen shout out that Adam Lambert was the original artist. Just like all the art that shows the love, all these covers show the love too. Embrace them all. Oh, and quick note, this is a duet. Very nice. Been off doing some stuff and just got back to catch up and saw this... I really really liked this.. Very well done Bet Adam would like this too..

Randy said he thought that the girls were slightly stronger than the boys. That does not bode well for "reviving our spirits" or proving you wrong. As for chalking up the girls' poor performances to inexperience and nerves, how is it different than the previous twelve seasons of Idol? You are right, there were tens of thousands of females auditioning. Idol CAST these gals above much better, more experienced singers. Their choice. But, perhaps because The Voice casts better singers to begin with, this choice could backfire on them. Folks may now expect better voices. I just don't see that last nights' contestants would make anyone want to watch every week or pick up a phone and vote. ETA: Or, what nica just said above me. Sorry for quoting myself.. The whole disappeared I was under the impression when THE VOICE started.. They invited/and scouted for the contestants.. From video submissions.. So their contestants are not newbies..but acts looking for and being given a second chance.. A statement from one of the judges ( probably Levene) was what the contestant does after the show with the opportunity was up to them. Idol has always been about the undiscovered regardless if any of them had been in the business..or trying.. I have always believed the success of AI finalists has been partly because of the length of the show (to cement the singers in our consciousness/lives) and the tour The Voice is not really on that long is it? Or each singer doesn't get as much exposure..and there seems to be so much attention paid to the judges that the winners get kinda left in the dust sometimes.

Q3.... Totally agree with your previous post as well as this one. These shows are about "VOICE", and the IT factor. I did not see, as yet, one female with both... the IT factor ...and voice. Sure I appreciated two voices, Emily and MK. On The Voice show ...with no mentoring ....I am drawn in by the VOICE and performance by many. Many competitors on these shows "grow us" into "their --IT Factor--" as the competition progresses, and their confidence and a repertoire opens our belief in their abilities. BUT none of these females really "grabbed me" like some past season's AI early performers. My thinking is bang on with our thoughts--- per an except from my post last night.
"With so many singing out of tune .... I chalk it up to inexperience and nerves. No comparison to voices on The Voice ( experience and age can make a difference when put through the ringer in a competition like this) I still cannot believe these voices are the best of thousands of females who auditioned."
It is the judges and producers credibility on the line...WHY...WHY...WHY these voices.... ....and it may just break this AI institution. Well ...it is up to the men tonight to revive my spirit and prove me wrong! I was under the impression that the "VOICE" invited their contestants to audition from video submissions..and/ Or scouting .. Giving failed acts and singers a second chance And then the failure of the winners or top placers was explained away with the statement from (Adam Lavigne) it was up to the contestant to take the exposure further and run with it. Where idol has always been giving the impression of finding the undiscovered.. Eta.. I do not know what happened to my post..trying again.. I have always believed the tour has played a huge part in the success of AI contestants.. Randy said he thought that the girls were slightly stronger than the boys. That does not bode well for "reviving our spirits" or proving you wrong. After watching the mentoring vids of Adam , chris and Randy.. I noticed MK and it was just a quick glimpse.. But it showed her with her backward hat.. I sure do hope someone got that off her head for tonight..
