But I do not think radio is the only way to sell this album. There are many songs on this album that RCA should be promoting to the dance clubs. From Donna Summer to Cher, songs that begin as club hits have made it to the radio and to a larger audience.This. Totally. I've never been shy about expressing that I don't think traditional radio is the be all end all, but if those who want to put all power in radio's hands and say if NCOE doesn't smash, the era is over, knock yourselves out. I don't believe it for a second. I believe in NCOE and I believe that RCA is biding its time. It hasn't been released to all markets and it won't even be released to radio until 5/29. It's 5/13. That's a long time with a LOT of promo in between. IMO, they have a plan. Trespassing is the priority right now. NCOE is the secondary, that will catch fire on Trespassing's coattails. And IMO, this is not your paint-by-numbers pop release. You can sing to me all the Radio-Is-King laments you want, but I will never believe that Adam will not get a third single from this stellar album because of RCA's original miscalculation of BTIKM (its issues had nothing to do with Adam or the album). I'm not blaming RCA; they made a bad call, whatever the reason – it can happen to anyone, but the key is to right the ship. I think they are making that effort with NCOE. I HOPE those PDs who championed NCOE will come through. If they have any integrity, they will. But like everything, I think organic growth will take over. Adam will sing this song everywhere and word of mouth will grow. I do think it was very smart for RCA to set the impact date AFTER all the promo. The focus is on the album now. NCOE will be a part of that fire. The focus is on the album now. NCOE will be a part of that fire. THIS!!!!!!! YES. ALL OF IT!!!

I bet they do. I'm glad they get some feedback, lol. Cuckoo should be the next single, imo. As I get the vibe Adam is not completely happy with the label's single decisions either, he may be getting his point of view across via these reviews without uttering a word... Just speculating here. BEST POP RECORD OF THE YEAR!!!
I think assuming that there will be a third single that is fully supported by RCA if NCOE doesn't do well on radio is fool-hardy.Here are things that help support NCOE doing well and therefore enable a potential third single to get label support: * Itunes sales spurred by radio play and video but also good buzz/word of mouth from fans and critics. Most of the fanbase buying the single. * Fans embracing the single wholeheartedly by requesting it and buying it and voting for it, and not dissing it on twitter or comments sections when interacting with the press and music media. I really hate even bringing up this comparison, but some fans of another idol thought that by refusing to request the the single that the label had released, or doing it 'under protest' and talking it down throughout their fandom they could 'force' the label to release another single. From what I understand it helped sink that single and ended that era. The label didn't throw financial support behind a third single. That's the Truth
By the way writing in other unreleased Trespassing songs on mediabase forms just outs one as a super-fan not in touch with how radio singles work and therefore not someone to take seriously as a listener. It might be fun, but if your goal is to get NCOE played? It won't help and could hinder that.
Rabbitrabbit, thank you for your post, absolutely agree with you. Even if we (and some of the reviewers) think that the single choice may have not been to our liking, we need to support RCA's choices and Adam's success like madmen (Cuckoo ). Only that way can we hope to get singles #3, #4 etc. Personally, I think NCOE will be a hit. Adam deserves a hit and if I can do my bit to make it happen, I will. So I request EVERY DAY!

On the topic of fonts & colors; I prefer using them only for emphasis. Otherwise the layout of the board will become cluttered and hard to read, IMO. What I did like, Q3, was when every other poster had light gray background; at least in my screen it looked great! On repeat:

DavidAtlanta .com Trespassing is one of the stronger, more consistent mainstream pop albums to come out in the past year, and with the right push from RCA Records, it could be a big hit. My one complaint? The singles released so far, while good, do not do this album justice. Releasing “Cuckoo” would be a step in the right direction.Rating A- More here davidatlanta.com/2012/05/adam-lamberts-trespassing/(I wonder if RCA reads the reviews. There have been quite a few questioning the single choices.)I bet they do. I'm glad they get some feedback, lol. Cuckoo should be the next single, imo. As I get the vibe Adam is not completely happy with the label's single decisions either, he may be getting his point of view across via these reviews without uttering a word... Just speculating here.

When I try out the new fonts and hit Preview, they show up really small unless I change the size. Just testing to see if that holds when I actually post.Okay--that still showed up small. I used the font titled Autumn. Shouldn't the default size be bigger? Is everyone having to resize their type in order to get it to show up regular size? (This time I didn't do a particular font.) The default size of fonts varies, see below ETA: Size is the same, typeface makes it look different, see post from Q3 Size 2 (default)Arial Freestyle ImpactSize 4Arial Freestyle ImpactQ3, the spoiler does not work for me... sorry. But the color picker is AWESOME!
