neonlimelight.com/2012/01/18/video-adam-lambert-performs-better-than-i-know-myself-on-jay-leno/Talk about a showstopping performance. Adam Lambert appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to give the debut performance of his new single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” and there’s no other word to describe the performance other than absolute and total “slayage.”From the finely tuned band, which includes new musical director Kevin Hastings, who used to work with Rihanna, to Adam displaying every peak and valley of his stunning voice, a debut performance couldn’t get any better. If we weren’t already in love, we’d be falling head-over-heels right about now. Love, love, love it!

Why are people surprised about the Austrian gig? Adam had already said he was going to be in Europe around his birthday. And we know he's doing UK promo in February, so maybe he'll head to London after doing a EU circuit? And I though some DJ (Toby? idk I'm losing track) hinted something about Adam visiting his station in February. And MyS*&@^#r isn't here (she's at Leno, the lucky b*tch) but I'm pretty sure she has talked about Kelley's promo being in EU first, then US. What we know is that Adam is doing Ryan's show on Friday, and who knows-- maybe he'll do something else next week that we don't know about yet. People gotta do what they gotta do; all I see is the framework of worldwide promo, and it makes me happy as hell. But hey, I'll pencil in some angsting for mid-February just in case... LOL, no angst here. I'm sure they have a great plan going on, our only problem is that they won't share it with us.... Yes, we knew he was going to Europe & UK a long time ago, so no surprise. I think RCA is putting a bit more effort to get the UK market going, as it's the gate to further success in Europe. Would be fun to know what are the plans for US radio, though. I still think that the general opinion/mood has shifted for the better. DJ's are taking him more seriously this time around. I guess he's paid his dues in the eyes of the radio peeps (despite it one can not expect to get everyone on board... : ). Less talk about Idol and the loyal fan base is still around and growing. Add to that fantastic music (that some have heard, lol) & general love from the awesome list of collaborators, the talent, personality, work ethic, versatility, fashion, etc. They would be stupid to ignore him. Adam is good for their business. It's gonna be great, take a good seat and enjoy the ride!
