Only part way through the thread I'm reminding myself that 'all good things come to those who wait'. I don't worry about how these delays affect Adam's standing in the music biz because I can't do anything about when he chooses to release. And in general I don't worry about something that hasn't happened yet because it could be a waste of my energies. For all we know this delay will have no affect on his career. ETA and since I am away from home beginning at the end of March through the first part of May I have complete confidence that the album release will be during this time frame ;D ;D LOL, could happen... Great avi, BTW. The man's a media magnet; from hair to clothes to tweets... So we'll get at least Majors & Minors, OUT 100 party, Adam's birthday, perhaps a photoshoot & comments from radio peeps when he goes back to NY to actually pick the single etc. In the meantime I would not mind if he'd do a show with Queen around Nov 24 as a tribute to Freddie... 8-) Perhaps some of the tracks previewed were written by Adam or at least co-written by him? In any case it's his music & vision, he must be extremely pleased with the UK reactions... So proud of him. :D

LeytonB Leyton Bracegirdle by LambertUK @adamlambert thanks so much for playing us the tracks today! Fab to meet ya...and see ya in Jan! Let's get the UK onboard!!! J anuary guys. He says January!!!!!! :D Ok, I may, just *may*, be doing a little happy dance. "Let's get the UK on board" whaaaa? LOL I'm so bipolar about Adam stanning. LOL, you're hilarious, BB! I noticed that you no longer need further confirmation that the album material is great, but I'll say it anyway. Please do not worry, the album is gonna be FAB! Sony/RCA are 100 % behind Adam! The writers/producers/collaborators are top-notch, he's practically drowned in love from everybody he works or speaks with. At this point, he's unstoppable. I have every confidence they have all the bases covered, even the UK. There's plenty of interesting turns before the FIRST single is out... just enjoy the ride.

I can't make the pieces fit together but I think it may be related to Welsford and that Feb 2008 contract Adam signed. RCA, 19R and Adam would not release this album until they are sure there will be no legal issues. OR...In the past 24 hours, accolades from literally all over the world (from fans to industry insiders) have been raining down on Adam's little shaved head after his performance with Queen, so....
HE'S DECIDED TO DO A 180 AND CHUCK THE ELECTRO-POP STUFF AND IS NOW WORKING ON 12 QUEENISH ROCK ANTHEMS LIKE THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!!!! I'm good with that. ;D ;D ;D
Yup, no problem at all! ETA: But, I want the pop-stuff, too!!! I like Q3's idea; now he'd have time to do a separate show somewhere; I'd be down with that! Besides, RL at the end of the year & with the holidays is in any case packed.

Thanks, thanks a lot PostFestum for your reply! I'll go with option # 3 (the link provided by lynneville: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQdwf9-y4HI&feature=player_embedded) then. Now, one more thing, about option #4, the one edited by lambossessed: adamlambertobsession.blogspot.com/2011/11/crowning-emas.html: Now, I know what being lamb-ossessed means!... but what does editing the sound of a video amount to ? I mean, can it really be done? Hate to flaunt my ignorance about everything musical... but I've always wondered what sort of process this could be ... thanks for any explanation (if it can be explained without getting too technical) sorry I skipped the B in obsessed... tooo obsessed and too littttle sleep I guess Keyboard, Terra or some other members would be qualified to answer, but... Yes, it can be done, up to a point. If you have a lossless audio rip and a decent HD vid, you can replace the original audio with the good one. You may have to clip the sound/video to match the length, but this is pretty straightforward. Then, if you need to clip the audio from various sources, edit the sound, etc. that's another story. YouTube has several teaching vids for various editing programmes. I recommend either Audacity (free) or AVS Video Editor.

This is confusing, but: I urge you to read and understand what the Queen Extravaganza (<--clickable) actually is- it is NOT Queen. "The Queen Extravaganza is a live touring show celebrating and paying tribute to the songs, style and vision of one of the World’s biggest bands, Queen."Queen is not touring. There is confusion because they are auditioning vocalists to tour as part of the Extravaganza, but again- this is not Queen touring. It is a TRIBUTE band. Now, Queen has mentioned that they might do the odd show here or there, and I sincerely hope that they and Adam have the desire and ability to coordinate things so that Adam might do a show or two. But that is the extent of it as of now. Sorry, I should've been more spesific in my post. I never meant to say Queen was touring, only the "Extravaganza line-up". Yes TY, Buder , for the additional info. I assumed that Brian/Roger will not perform with the Tribute/Extravaganza band. Therefore a one-off (Queen with Adam) would make more sense?
