Always a thrill to see Adam on TV, especially with Queen in the U.S. He sounded terrific! Yep!!!

Sigh, no WWTLF...
Still happy to see them, though.

Absolutely loved that rendition of Stay. For me, I would not compare Jared's version to Adam's; I get a different sensibilty from each singer. One is more 'rockish' and the other 'balladish' (very technical terminologies, LOL) - both w/great vocals.

Anyone feel like talking about his look tonite? Seems he got a hair trim on the sides, love that his stache seemed trimmer than usual and that his stubble was not too much. Make-up was perfect, not too much but some. Outfit was A+++! I believe the shirt he wore to the premier of Brad Pitt's zombie movie (someone correct me if I'm wrong), but pants (nice & tight-yesss!) could be new. Then his spikey boots which he showed us during Fergie's baby shower. He is soooo trim, and it bears repeating, SEXAYY as hell! javascript:addS('http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/smiley2173.gif',' ::smiley2173:: ');popCollapse() I was about to go to bed but you pulled me back in with the hair comment. Yep, side is trimmed, top is trimmed a bit too and is full - kinda like a fluffly pompado. Aaah... now i can go to rest; i enjoyed a great concert and hair porn. G'night... er.. G'morning, all! It was real. Muah!

OK I'm back... Quick few thoughts. 1. Surprised at the broken up BR and the lack of Freddie...not bad, but I would have liked a Freddie moment... 2. You guys are a bit biased I think I had fun watching Nate...no he is nowhere the singer Adam is but he had a lot of energy and you could tell he was having the greatest time. During Brian's guitar solo during STL they showed this great shot of him just watching Brian in awe with this big goofy grin on his face which I loved. 3. Instead of Nate I wanted to jump on the rest of fun a bit....the keyboardist couldn't open up STL properly and the ending guitar part strayed a bit 4. MY f-n feed cut during the hard rocking ending of STL (my favorite part due to RT backing vocals) and came back in the middle of FBG...hoping there's a recording out there. 5. I think we should all prepare for WWTLF to be cut from the CW highlights show. He did kill it, but it's not a well known song and they are going to want the big numbers and the big "surprise" moment of fun there with them. 6. And what you've all been waiting for...Adam. Honestly, I thought this was his best job with the rocking stuff. You may remember that I thought his rocking numbers lacked a bit in the previous tour. I loved him but he was much better on the ballads. He added some grit to his voice that helped out those rock moments. Good on him. Some great performances I must say. Excellent work all around! Please hook a brutha up with a HD recording :D Talon, you are unfailingly sweet and generous!!! I couldn't watch any stream, so I'm gonna take your word about Nate's energy and and his big adoring grin when watching Brian, but when STL came on and all I could hear (at least on my computer) was a thin, stretched, somewhat shrieky little voice... after hearing the multi-dimensional rafter-raising sonic boom of Adam's voice... I dunno... it truly was kind of shocking for me. That was pretty much my reaction, too, seoulmate. I enjoyed Nate and he did seem stoked be up there with Queen and Adam.

Saw this at the OP (Mods, pls delete if is inappropriate to carry over here):
"For the record, Nate Ruess has been having some vocal issues. They had to cancel a performance with Mumford & Sons last week so he could rest up...."

Nate Rouse/Fun had great energy and was obviously over the top excited to be singing with Queen. But there's no comparison between his vocals and Adam's. My thoughts, too. Liked the way Nate pulled in the audience with his energy. Voice was a bit strident at times but he had a great time and was happy to be singing w/Queen AND Adam...
