I think Haley's second number was one of the best in the entire history of Idol. I'd put it up there with Adam's "If I Can't Have You." She moved me. I just watched that performance 10 times!

Anyone notice JD's hair fringe, necklace is reminiscent of Adam's RoF look? And what is with his 'to grow or not to grow shadowy beard thingy thingy?? Doesn't it remind anyone of..............? ;D
Didn't bother watching Scotty's or JD's 2nd song but Haley wins the night for me and I like Lauren's Martina McBride song.

Dial Idol - Scotty by a country mile (pun intended), then big gap, Lauren and James close and then Haley. Hope they are wrong. Would love to see James go home and let the girls fight for Scotty scraps..but to stay with my original predictions of order it will probably be Haley unfortunately. Then James' turn next week.
Country music industry is just gonna lap Scotty up like warm milk whether he wins or not but I don't see how he loses unless he just flat out stops singing and even then if he wiggles his eyebrows a bit he will probably still win. :-)

I thought country music aren't really kind to really young guys like Aaron Kelly and Scotty types? You know, the prefer seasoned manly men types?

I am guessing there are plenty of tween girl country music fans who think Scotty is just dreamy. He's pretty "manly" for a 17 year old with that big old deep voice of his. Give him a few years and he'll be butching it up with Tim Mcgraw and the boys like an old hand. LOL

I stopped watching weeks ago I liked Haley from the start but didn't love her until the last few weeks. She is the only one I watch on youtube now.
Her studio recordings are great.Only sorry that I cannot buy them legally her in the UK and have had to download from youtube.
Earth Song is ten times better than her live version (much like Adam's "One")!! All highly recommended 8-)

Yeah, it was so obvious that the judges were biased. I thought they were right on Haley last night. The first song was rough, too much growlin', wasn't her best. The 2nd song she was vocally in control and emotionally expressed beautifully, deserved standing O, and got it!
But their praises to the other 3 were SO ridiculous ! Scotty & Lauren's 2 songs were AWFUL! Can't stand Randy " in it to win" who doesn't? ...what kind of critiques is that. Also "beautiful" from Steven..just don't get it. I think Adam said it all about James. predictable, nothin' new, flat notes here and there and throw in high notes just because..
My rank from last night. 1st song: Lauren, 2nd song Haley (100X better than the other 3)
ETA, Note to James, this is a singing competition. You sing, we listen. We're not at your concert, don't tell us to sing along & you know the words. Sorry, I don't take that as connected to the audience.
