An artist I love
There's literally no one I appreciate or take interest in as much as Adam, but this Serbian singer makes me feel almost the same as he does. I love her voice, I love the sound and the songs. I wish Adam sang them:) In many ways, I see her as Adam's female/Serbian counterpart:)
Her name is Ivana, and the band's name is Negative. The song is called: I'd dream about you.

What a great idea Q3! I have always been a huge Elvis fan but I couldn't narrow it down to just one video. During my search I came across this collaboration between Pavarotti and James Brown............and since I love this song and both of them, here it is. On a sad note, I was finally going to see James Brown in concert for my______birthday and to my great disappointment he passed away a few days prior. youtu.be/Febr_t_qa9U

A couple of months ago I started listening to an artist from Belgium called Stromae. He did have a few big hits over here, which all sound like perfectly nice danceble songs on the surface. So I knew of him, but didn't really pay attention. And when I started to really listen to the lyrics I discovered they are very powerful. Stromae sings about racism, the economical crisis, losing yourself in partying as an escape, missing fathers, relationships etc. And it's not preachy or dark, because he pairs that with humor and absurdism and his very own style. He is a great poet too. And versatile, combining dance music with Cuban and Congolese rhythms, irresistable for me. And he can sing! His voice is for me the only one other than Adam that can really envelop me, it has such a gorgeous deep tone.
A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to attend one of his shows and he was amazing.
It's very hard to chose one song to post, but I do love this video. It's about how men and women communicate in a relationship, it's called 'Tous les mêmes' (All the same)
Any Pentatonix fans here might know Stromae from the cover of his song 'Papaoutai' that they did on their last album.

The director and writer of "I Origins", Mike Cahill, thanked Adam:)))
Mike Cahill @_mikecahill · “@adamlambert: Saw a very moving film on my flight. "I ORIGIN" what a beautiful story. Deeply touching.” Thanks Adam

Oh, and Adam, if you're reading, Stromae is a producer too. Produced the first track on the Hunger Games soundtrack for Lorde. Just sayin' (Figured that it's never too early to start thinking about A4)

www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnofPysCjtI#t=34 FAME.. this is one of my favorite older videos of Adam.. He's so honest always Watched Taylor Swift on Barara Walters show.. She mentioned price of Fame.. crowds everywhere she goes, she hasn't been alone in five years, now needs security.. loves what she does.. but... So I understand Adam not telling us everything about his life.. IMHO ,he is learning how to have some privacy

I like many kinds of music but still enjoy remembering falling in love with rock and roll because of shows when I was a kid such as "Happy Days" and "American Hot Wax." Here is a great song by Little Richard -- we have discussed his hair recently.
Long Tall Sally, a Little Richard co-write, was released in 1956 and was his biggest hit. It has been covered hundreds of times. Little Richard was one of the founders of rock and roll. His singing style was primarily influenced by gospel music. He combined it with r&b themes and boogie-woogie piano. His shows were some of the first to be performed before a racially mixed audience. A person with many struggles, including drug and alcohol abuse and bisexuality that is difficult for him to accept, he has gone back and forth between secular and sacred music many times over the years. He still performs at age 82.

I can't post a video, but mine would be Elvis' "If I Can Dream." Such a powerful, meaningful song by the artist I still love so much.
