TP is a brilliant album... perhaps there is some hope for retroactive revival...may be if TOH is successful!
It's too bad RCA hold the publishing right of the album. Unless Adam buys that right. Not sure if he wants to.

"An androgynous appearance"..... really? REALLY? In those black or gold pants that were so tight they looked painted on? With bulges in all the right places? With leather and studs and pelvic twirls and thrusts aimed at his bitches? He has different personas for the different costume changes, but I don't know that during any of them I watch and think his sexuality is ambiguous or lacking. But it is a great review. "An androgynous appearance" is a lot better than the reviewer in the UK who described the copper outfit as "Adam came out dressed like Avril Levine." That seems to be the silliest description so far to me. It think they meant the red plaid pants - someone posted a picture of Avril wearing a very similar outfit complete with a pair of red plaid pants... at least that's what I understood...

Unless he was comparing Adam's 4th outfit description to Avril's outfit here: or It is late and I could be mis-remembering which outfit he meant -- pretty sure it was the copper one. But oh my -- that looks like Adam's plaid pants! She also has a copper outfit that looks a lot like Adam's. So are they sharing a closet?

RCA owns the recording masters to Trespassing not the publishing rights -- two different things. Some artists buy their recording masters but it is not inexpensive. I would be a bit surprised if Adam purchased these masters. The rights that are associated with a musical copyright are the “music publishing rights” and Adam already owns part of those for all the good tracks on Trespassing [the ones he co-wrote] -- with the notable exception of "Naked Love" which he did not write. Adam publishing rights and the associated royalties are managed by Kobalt Music. www.kobaltmusic.com/page-roster.php

I always wondered if it is possible to give up your royalties even for songs you have a writing credit on? I guess anything can be in a contract, but past posting seemed to infer Adam would still get paid his portion of a writing credit. Is this just conjecture?I would think...using the word royalties is a huge "word" in the music industry. And whatever Adam is attempting to imply...I believe he wanted fans to know he is giving up a lot. Maybe to pay back for the loss on Trespassing, and getting out of the contract.
