Munich-----SAVE ME ----takes me to the stars, makes me want to cry and dance and sing and run to that darling man with the beautiful voice.....
I wish I could hear and see him sing that song--in person, one time in my life!

Tracey @kinkykiedis 5m5 minutes ago View translation QUEEN + Adam Lambert - TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN - München Olympiahalle 2015: youtu.be/bX7n1W3d6Vw via @youtube I'm still looking at vids! I really like this vid because you could see all the band on stage and the fun they were all having. Adam puts his sun glasses back on, when he stands in front of Roger and starts jumping Roger jumps too (lol) , and I love how he put his arm on Neil's shoulder...he really includes all the band members in his fun. His joy and fun up there is infectious and the whole band respond to it as does the audience!! Now back to more vids!

I'm a singer and I could tell that Adam seemed a bit congested in Munich--I know that when I get sick, my voice gets lower and I can hear a bit of that in the first few songs, as well as what sounds like a little bit of nasal congestion. The fact that he can pull out all the stops and do what he does in any situation continues to floor me! I have performed sick and it is hard--the energized feeling could be from getting himself hyped up to do the performance. Whatever the case, I am saving a lot of videos from this concert--amazing! I love listening to all the nuances he comes up with each concert.

Did y'all see 2:10? He crawls across the stage, slithers on top of the monitors. Meanwhile, Dr. Bri looks over with a gentle bemused expression like, Oh look, Adam is crawling on the stage. Watch SCC. Actually, cassie, Adam seems to be letting his tongue stick out more. Is he pushing the sound more than normal? Not in SCC but he does it in STL and even Save Me in Munich. I noticed the tongue on several songs. I have a theory. Just a theory. Feel free to totally ignore it.
Altho' STL and Save Me were possibly the best I have ever heard, and altho Adam has a crazy amount of energy in the videos I have watched, this is the night that I hear signs of a possible cold. If you listen at 1:33 on SCC, not when he is singing, but when he is shouting, his voice cracks at the top. I heard the same thing on another song, again when he shouted. Then, on AOBTD, his voice cracks while singing at 1:11 on the beginning of the word "satisfied." Can someone else confirm what I am hearing? So, I am thinking that when he is going for those sustained high power notes, he is trying to be very careful not to push his voice too hard, and to keep his throat very relaxed and open, which happens when he projects his tongue.
As I said, just a theory. I have resisted thinking he was having any problems before tonight, but now..... maybe. He seems to have recovered as he went on in the concert. Perhaps because he is being extra attentive to the vocal technique. Or maybe I am imagining things. Because he sure sounded amazing on STL and Save Me.I've listened and re-listened, but can't detect that voice crack on AOBTD.. sounds fine to me.

One of the things I enjoy so much about these videos is the way Brian and Adam interact with each other. They seem to be having so much fun! I see much more of this now than in the US tours. I love the playfulness.
