She sang "Bang Bang" Started as Nancy and ended as Adam.. at least in her mind. I didn't post Jax's here, because, well I hated it. However, here is one of my favorite SYTYCD performances to the song. Thanks for answering me, koshka, and posting a vid. I never heard of Bang Bang.

Yes, she is the Glambert. I honestly do not know when or who started the concept that Adam's Fans were "all" older women, but people like Ryan Seacrest and radio folks, helped perpetuate the concept. Some can help more with this concept. I think that it initially may genuinely have started with non teenaged women visibly showing support. When you think of the demographics of who attended those first concerts, GNT, or who would buy tickets for TV events, or show up to radio station events....it was women who perhaps had the time and money to support and travel to support Adam. He has always had a broad age range of fans. Jokes were often made when pictures of young fans were screaming their appreciation and enjoying their Adam fanning....that yah... ....they sure are old Eh! As a fan, I relished the youthful fanning, knowing that is an important demographic to have on Adam's side. In eastern Canada, I would say Adam has great support from the younger demographic. I think the same applies to Asian countries. This is based strictly on the videos and pictures I see. With Adam starting out in mid size or casino buildongs, there was an age restriction! As well for some concerts, so that again brought in the late 20 plus types. The goal is broad appeal ...old or young Glamberts...the important thing is the passion for the artist. Adam continues to grow his popularity, and the more popular, the more fans, the larger venues, the more diverse the demographics. I get what you're saying, but from here to thinking that a random older woman in a TV series is symbolizing a Glambert is a long way. Almost no one is aware of this stigma except for Adam's fans. BTW, I remember seeing in E! an interview with Zak Efron where they asked him about his older women fan base. Mind you, they didn't ask that in a degrading way, they were just interested in the phenomenon. I think the last time we did a survey here we had a supermajority on the "wrong side" of fifty and those of us who do fit the description have been thru many a shezlounge session discussing whether we should show our heads anywhere near the first 5 rows of a concert or to not say "I'm a grandmother and I love Adam Lambert" because that perpetuates the stigma. Which brings up the point of why is it a stigma? It's like saying that being older is a bad thing, kind of like "he's so gay" being a pejorative but really it's not unless you still live in the world of gay=bad or old=bad or for people like Simon Cowell who believe that Rocky Horror Picture Show = bad. For those of you who are youngsters, you win big time at Radio. Radio has this demographic bias that simply can't get away from young and hip despite any actual buying power analysis. And like the white/gold blue/black dress the young crowd can create this online buzz that is second to none. And different countries have a different skew in their Glambert age ranges, but the US and the first Glamberts that came on board because of Idol skew to grayer (albeit often colored) hair. And that grayer crowd has a long association with credit cards and is willing to exploit all their knowledge of money transfer to put dimmers in his house. It is what it is and I see more news outlets who are perplexed (my favorite word at the moment) at the range of age in his fan base which is why they always seem to find one of us who is a little longer in the tooth to interview because they view him as a pop star with teeny boppers for fans. I do wish when I see pics of him in this bar or that one that he'd ever hang out where I would have any chance of being but that's not his thing. But he knows, he's described his typical fans himself and he knows who buys those GA tickets and gets the first rows or those expensive stage seats and he doesn't begrudge us and actually often panders to us. Now coming back to the Glee vid, I have no idea if the writers had any of this in mind, it's simply what came to my mind when I watched the clip. ETA: Just saying, I don't think that I'm addressing anyone in particular just the conversation in general and sometimes easiest if I bring over part of the conversation for background.

Can someone who watches Idol tell me what Jax is talking about in this old tweet? I remember her when Adam was a judge on the show and thought she was different and interesting. I have no idea why the tweet isn't showing up. I'll post again. JAX @jax Feb 26 What I was going for: If Nancy Sinatra and Adam Lambert had a baby... BANG BANG. That's what it would look like. Ya know?
Her Idol song last week was Bang Bang by Nancy Sinatra. It was very theatrically staged. I remember thinking at the time that if Adam did that song he would do it like that. She even got Rickey Minor involved as Adam would have. It was really good.

Thanks, Pat This is the first video of it I've seen. It doesn't reflect the sound quality (Sheffield was the very best sound of any concert for me - perfect) but I think it shows the extra energy and build-up....and the audience caught the spirit of it. It was so exciting in the flesh, it made my heart beat harder - honestly.....and it was a song I had never felt much for before. Extraordinary! Edit: Just a thought - is it performed faster here than it usually is?

I follow her on Twitter and she really tweets a lot...lol. I wouldn't mind Adam and Jax singing together on Idol if she makes it to the final rounds, which I hope she does. Her audition in front of him was awesome and he seemed to really like her as well.
