So, what started as the "Once In A Lifetime" tour is now the "Don’t Stop Them Now" tour! Yes! He deserves every bit of this, he is on his way to World Wide Superstar! Just stay grounded dear Adam, but I think you are so ready for this.

I believe that list is for what you are calling "mainstream." It's called contemporary hits radio (CHR). They play a few styles including "rhythm crossover," which Adam's is classified as. I think I understand. Mainstream and rhythmic are considered "subcategories" of CHR. My confusion was over the fact that there is a Top 40 AND a Rhythmic chart. I my mind, if there are 2 charts, there should be 2 dates. That's actually not quite right. There are Rhythmic (AKA Rhythmic Top 40 or CHR/Rhythmic) radio stations. These stations play mostly hit-driven R&B/hip-hop, rhythmic pop, and some dance tracks. Think Mark Ronson, Rihanna, etc. There are Mainstream Top 40 or Contemporary Hits Radio (CHR) radio stations. This stations play hits that target young adults -- 18-29 years old, across genres. These are also referred to as Pop (popular) radio stations. There is also pop music which refers to a genre of music -- like Paul McCartney music. CHR station play more than pop music.

Each station, even though they all might belong to the same holding company tailor their playlists to their individual market. For example Z100 out of New York plays a very different setlist than KIIS out of Los Angeles.

I need some sort of news. All this quiet is killing me.*sigh* I know it is bad of my to say this but I am happy to have a quiet day. I think it is the quiet before the storm and I am relishing it! This week, at this time, GT had damn well be doing OK on iTunes. This will be Adam's first single released during the heat of The Voice. So I expect that the Top 10 will be filled up with "them" next Tuesday and Wednesday. Thankfully they come and go very quickly. *** I am really enjoying two Voice contestants this season -- both male singers -- both very different than Adam -- but I can't get too excited about either of them. Sort of like what Idol was like for me pre- and post- Adam. I can't imagine caring so much about a singer I don't know that I would vote for them. It feels very intellectual. I guess I am monogamous about singers! Or am I obsessed?!?! Or delirious? Whatever -- I was "owned" the moment I heard him sing "ma-ma". I know this is OT, but I can't help but wonder who are the two Voice contestants that you like? I've been watching the show, so I'm curious.

That means that they will be pushing GT to Rhymic and Mainstream Pop stations. It is a very good thing. Plus we have tweets from some HAC stations. Looks like they are going for 3 formats -- they must really think this is a big hit. There is no doubt they are going to push this in mainstream pop -- Z100 is the #1 mainstream pop station in the US has been lead on this one. We also have positive tweets from other mainstream pop stations like Q102 , Philly (CHR/MTop 40) and some HAC stations like Click 98.9 Seattle. I am pretty sure that we will not have trouble hearing Ghost Town in a few weeks -- on broadcast radio in the US!! Wonder why they did not give it an April 28th mainstream release date? For example the Alyxx Dione f/Jason Derulo song is on both lists. Assuming that FMBQ has the total info -- and they are not always complete or right -- but they are clearly going to MTop 40. We have not seen anything from a Rhymic station but a lot from MTop 40/CHR and HAC stations. So I have no doubt they are pushing this to MTop 40.

13 Celebrities Who Went From Ugly To Gorgeous 11. Adam Lambert Nobody who knew this sensitive junior thespian back home in Indianapolis would have guessed that he’d slim down and suit up to become one of the hottest pop stars of the 2000s! Adult Adam’s still ricking the longish hair, but the understated tie is a nice choice and we’re loving that look of steely confidence. If that little guy on the left could only see how his personal transformation would turn out, he’d be wearing a bigger smile! www.wizzed.com/13-celebrities-who-went-from-ugly-to-gorgeous/11/

Thanks for the information about ordering the Notion magazine. I just ordered mine and I definitely hope I've got the Adam cover -- I couldn't see a way of specifying. I know I was laughing at the long faces in Attitude magazine yesterday, but I still love it. I want to see Adam on lots of magazines -- good exposure outside the Glambert hive -- so I'm willing to keep buying. Go Adam go!!!

I like Sawyer and Josh -- both of whom are very talented and have very unique styles. Sawyer is astonishing for a just turned 16 year old. But as I posted, my heart is owned by Adam. My first and last talent show love -- maybe.

Thanks, Q3. Yes Sawyer is amazing -- same age at Daniel on AI and no comparison. But, like you, Adam is the one. Besides I don't have time for another!!!

And on a shallow note, his hair is gorgeous! I'm so jealous.
