Grandduchess, thanks for the suggestions on what to wear. I like the skirt and boots. You are welome. I've only met you briefly but the skirt "looked" like you! Now if it is old Hollywood we will be doing?

Old Hollywood is exactly what I have been saying the video would be! Broken dreams! There are plenty of studios they could use, but my money is on Warner brothers!! Paramount would be good also!

Q3, will we have new forum skins for E3? I'm still in my Trespassing colors.

I agree that is where the focus has been, which is why I was surprised to not see it on the Mainstream list. Excellent point Q3. Perhaps they are hiding the add date in the same place they are hiding the song snippet. They already seem to have some airplay commitments -- it may be that they will not have an "available for airplay" date for Mainstream Top 40 because it is already done. But that would be very unusual. Jason DeRulo's lead single was released on March 9, it had a radio impact date of March 17 but WBR had a Clear Channel Radio deal in place an a lot of stations were playing it once an hours for days before the impact date. The set a record when they went for adds: Kind of what they did with Jason DeRulo's last single -- although I do not expect WBR to match what happened with WTWM. No I really do not expect anything from Adam to been added by 156 stations in a week but I think WBR is doing something similar to the Jason D promo for Adam. > There clearly is a Clear Channel deal in place for GT. These tweets and interviews are real but not "natural". This is a promotion. > The appear to be planning to push GT to three radio formats CHR, HAC and RCHR. That is aggressive but sensible based on the description of the song. A small voice in the back of my head is saying that maybe FMQB listed it in the wrong place or forgot the MCHR listing. They do make mistakes. Another small voice in the back of my head is screaming -- right now we are hearing promotional hype. Sometimes it is only hype and the song is not that good -- for example, Lady Gaga's "Judas" or Adam NCOE. I am remaining cautiously optimistic.
Great reviews does not always = big sales
Lots of airplay does not always = big hit
A song needs to be really good and have a hook and fit the time and mood of the audience/market.I want to hear GT before I get really excited.
