Thanks for responding, Jamiglambert! Good to know there are other kindred spirits who see the connections: great minds "Runnin" in the same direction..delurk more often, please. Q3, skaschep, and whatyasay, I'm hoping that "Runnin" makes a future Adam Greatest CD which would bring it back into the 'possible for live performance' realm. The Adam wails in the recorded Runnin are swoon worthy; perhaps that makes it difficult to sing live. If one of us ever wins the lottery so we can have an Atop concert, we could beg for him to go "down, down, down" for us! As much as I would LOVE to hear Runnin' live, I think it's one that's squarely filed in the same box with another one of my old favs that I would die to hear live CLYG = The It Ain't Gonna Happen Box! I'm not sure even Adam would want to attempt either one of them live. I'm not suggesting he couldn't do it, but why put himself (and his vocal cords) through that? Runnin' covers almost his entire range (Running hits A2-F5-ish?) and scales about 3 octaves in what, about 12 bars? Have you tried singing that beast? I've almost broken something a couple of times in the car...LOL As for My Favorite Part of Ghost Town...I'm in the "O" crowd too. Can't choose whether it's the 2:55 "O" or the 3:11 "O" for the win. The first one is so raw it literally dropped my mouth open on the first listen. And the second one is just glorious. Guess I better listen again to try and decide! Oh, and an honorable mention for the little "growl" at 1:05...

I have a question. How was the word "era" got introduced with releasing a new album? I have never seen it with other artists when they released a new album. Did Adam introduced the "new era" word? I really like it, it feels like a journey when the new era starts.

I have a few favorite parts of GT but the scene where he is leaning against the wall in the long coat snapping his fingers is great. Also, there is a part where he is still wearing the long coat and he throws his head back and flips the back of the coat up and twirls. I seem to really like twirly Adam. And, that guy in the leather lace-ups - YUM! The heart-shaped fishnets are also quite an eye opener. Now that I've gotten to know the song, I'm beginning to really appreciate the visuals. It's a great video!
