Yes. It is all hypothetical. Reading your answer made me wonder, why do you think Adam and his team wanted this, then? Does he just have bad management (again)? He has very good management -- I am sure of that. Just because I would prefer something else, does not mean that this was not a good idea. My GUESS is that Adam wanted to do a big arena tour and this was a financially beneficial, low risk way to do it. It is very hard to move up to the arena level and it is very hard to stay there -- particularly for pop artists. Easier for country artists, Urban-hip hop and classic rock artists. Okay, thank you - I am relieved you believe he's in good hands overall.

What is going on? I am really upset. How could Adam's team allow this to happen? After all of his hard work on this album and reputation as the front man for Queen, he is now being held up to ridicule by Demi's team and TMZ. Not good enough when you can have Jonas is the story they are pushing. This really hurts and this crap is spreading all over the place. He is one of the best singers and performers in the game but pop is dominated with women and the 20 something or younger crowd. My goodness, you can still have top 20 hits without calling yourself a pop artist or dance artist. Many others have done it so why not Adam? Please forgive me if I sound like a babbling idiot but I feel so hurt right now. When he releases his tour schedule, if he headlines, there will be another round of ha ha because his venues will not match Demi's. I know you guys will say it is nothing to worry about and you will be right. But I needed to vent. Thanks! I know you just needed to vent but I want to respond to this. Adam and his team clearly decided the sensible PR strategy was for Adam to clearly state he had no issue with Demi and to get that tweet in all the major articles and reports. And they succeeded. There are two scenarios: 1. Adam is really hurt and disappointed and angry but denying it. He is staying friends with Demi and Nick because it is good business. (This does not sound like Adam to me, but let's say he is hiding it all.) So what is the best PR strategy -- get angry in public and throw gasoline on the fire and get burned? I don't think so. His PR team would tell him to respond professionally and his management would go back to the drawing board to put together a new tour. 2. Adam is disappointed that a business deal fell apart and has moved on. He really is still friends with Demi and Nick. (This sounds like Adam to me. He does not lie well, he is not one to have fake friendships that merely serve his career. It is a very small business and he may well work with Demi and/or Nick in the future. Don't burn bridges cause you may need them.) The best PR strategy is to tell the truth. We'll still friends, it was just business. In either case the PR strategy is the same. Keep it low key. *** Of all the players in this, the only one who has said nothing that matters is Nick -- whose response to the paps was "Adam who?" as he got out of there as quickly as possible. Neither Demi or Nick would want this story out there right before they announce their tour. *** Regarding Adam and this tour -- none of us knew anything about it 3 days ago when it was already dead. We were all excited about his upcoming Halloween events and concerts. Now I keep reading about how terrible this is. Adam will be fine. He has a new single getting airplay in the UK. Some great radio concerts scheduled in the US. Then he heads off to Asia-Pacific for the first leg of his solo tour. *** You wrote "pop is dominated with women and the 20 something or younger crowd." But that really isn't true. Pop music is very diverse. 2015's biggest hit so far is by Mark Ronson (age 40) feat Bruno Mars (age 30). The biggest hit of 2014 was "Happy" by Pharrell who was 41 when he scored this big hit. Biggest hit of 2013 - "Thrift Shop" Macklemore and Ryan Lewis feat. Wanz - Macklemore was 31 when it was released, he is now 33 and opened last night's EMA. Harder to find women over 30 doing well in pop, but very common to find men in there 30's, 40's and even 50's with pop hits. *** I continue to be thrilled with all the great opportunities Adam has, and the support he gets from his team and label. Co-touring deals fall apart all the time. Nature of the business. Finally, the gossip press is filled with things that are sensationalized and not true. I recommend either laughing at them or ignoring them.

Q3...I was glad Shosh tweeted and I added it right away to my post. Thank goodness she responded to the article right away because I could see twitter going crazy and the online media having a heyday with it! Are fans really so fucking clueless about Adam and his work ethic that they have to be convinced by SS? SERIOUSLY? Blind Gossip is just that a GOSSIP SITE! They take what is in the current celebrity news cycle, juice it up a bit and throw it out there for their readers to speculate on. They are adding the difficult part not from the TMZ article but from the naughty gossip site. ADDING - sorry that came off more angry than needed...feeling more that a bit stabby about this whole debacle. ignore me. Just wanted to say that you are not the only one. I have not seen so many Adam fans rattled or on edge or "staggy" about something since the AMAs and I am not sure why. I don't even think the whole idea was a good idea but #tourgate is making me a bit nuts.

To anyone...I've wondered this a hundred times... why are the VEVO hits so huge and immediate and is there a reason Adam is YT rather than VEVO? VEVO is a joint venture of YouTube, Sony Music Entertainment and UMG. Warner Brothers is not part of VEVO. On the VEVO counts -- I think either the platform is magic or the counters are different than YouTube counters -- meaning bots get counted?

Q3 do you know why Adam didn't participate in the EMAs this year? With his higher profile in Europe, I would have thought he would be invited to perform or something..

I just keep hoping his mgmt and pr chime in with something positive soon or some other smuck does something stupid so the vultures can go circle them for a while. Come on Justin, we need you to step up son.

Just curious is this tour gate thing haha, worth fans going all crazy over? Sounds like it was a business deal that went sour, things were said, those said things were twisted. Sounds more like the fanbases feuding. Either Adam is pissed, but being Adam and going yayy rainbows. Or he has some resentment, but doesn't blame Demi and are genuinely friends. I Think from a core fan view, this is just a knee jerk reaction because of the Beg for Mercy, Monte thing. So it has less to do with Demi, she is just a scapegoat. But that is just me, I think its been overblown and over sensationalized, but that is the game of telephone. I think some fans on Twitter need to settle down haha but whatever.
