Q3 do you know why Adam didn't participate in the EMAs this year? With his higher profile in Europe, I would have thought he would be invited to perform or something.. I have no info on it but it would have been really stressful for him. His schedule is brutal and he is focused on promo in Asia-Pacific and the US. The EMAs were in Italy on Sunday. Also, Adam "always" goes to Marcus' Halloween party. I think he block out the weekend for that and other personal events. *** Setting that aside -- it is really not an event that "everyone" goes to -- there is only one of those in western/global music, The Grammys. (Does not really include China, Korea, Africa, etc.)

Just curious is this tour gate thing haha, worth fans going all crazy over? Sounds like it was a business deal that went sour, things were said, those said things were twisted. Sounds more like the fanbases feuding. Either Adam is pissed, but being Adam and going yayy rainbows. Or he has some resentment, but doesn't blame Demi and are genuinely friends. I Think from a core fan view, this is just a knee jerk reaction because of the Beg for Mercy, Monte thing. So it has less to do with Demi, she is just a scapegoat. But that is just me, I think its been overblown and over sensationalized, but that is the game of telephone. I think some fans on Twitter need to settle down haha but whatever. I agree it is business -- but whatever happened has everything to do with Demi and her manager. It is her tour. And, if as it appears, that she decided to switch from Adam to Nick because Nick is hotter on radio this week, I suspect that the picture may look very different by Summer 2016 since it looks like ALN is going to be a hit. And they still have TOH to release as a single -- and that could be a very, very big single. I have faith in Adam, DMG and WBM. They will work this all out one way or the other.

[...] *** On Queen -- I guess it depends on how you define "fans". I define a fan as someone who will buy music or pay for concert tickets or support them online. The vast majority of Queen fans did not become Adam fans by my definition. For example, at the Morongo concert I "interviewed" a lot of people who were there -- we had an hour to kill in the lobby. I met many fans from Idol who had never seen Adam, there were many long-term Adam fans (a lot I know), but not one Queen fan converted into an Adam fan. Adam picked up a few fans from Queen -- but sees like they are mostly in the UK and other markets where his profile was low and Queen is big -- and many of those from from TV broadcasts not concerts. I am very tapped into Queen fandom. My take is they admire him and many would buy Adam + Brian + Roger new music if it was good, but they did not buy anything from TOH including "Lucy". I can't find any evidence that Adam picked up a sizable number of fans from Queen. He did gain a significant number of new fans until "Ghost Town" broke through -- and a lot of those fans are in their 20's and from pop radio airplay. Adam needs another pop hit which I think he will have with ALN. Well... I have met a few Queen fans (like really really BIG Queen fans), and I know of at least three of them who bought TOH and liked it. I saw two at the 538 event (they were there for Adam). We have had some people here since the the QAL concerts who didn't know about Adam before (the Dutch posse, the French beauties), and I am most likely forgetting some people too. I was awed by the positive talk by the Queen fans about Adam at the Queen Extravaganza show too. Afterwards I even felt a bit uncomfortable, because everybody started reminiscing about the Amsterdam QAL concert and the amazingness of Adam when Marc Martel had just sang his heart out on stage. Will they be 'converted to Adam fans'? Nope. They have been Queenies for years (and sometimes decades), but I hope and think that many of them will have an additional place in their heart - and their wallets - for Adam too. Like I have plenty of space for Adam ánd Queen. Agree that those are in markets where Adam wasn't that big, and Queen is. But I guess there are many more that we don't know about. I think with every thing he does (more hits, more albums, Queen, Glee, Adam is slowly but surely gaining more people that like him and that will stay. He needs the flashes of pop hits too, to get the attention of the masses, but those will only be here for so long.

For me the reason to post things like this radio station tweet is twofold. First to show that a radio station is playing it and second to see if anyone in the area might respond to it. Without a location I have no idea what I'm celebrating because ALN is playing in Poland, in the UK, in the US, I was quite surprised to find this instance was in the US. I don't think a lot of people memorize all the call signs or twitter names of their nearby radio stations (maybe this isn't even a radio station at all, I didn't get that far) and they might just scroll on by not knowing that it's just a state over from them or somewhere they might have extended family. I guess I would ask why wouldn't you want to include the location? I have added tweeter information in many of my posts but not everyone. If a person wants to know more about the tweeter they can click on his/her name and find out about them and their location just as easy as me copying it in my post. But I have tried to put information in posts I thought might be helpful to make it more convenient for everybody. Your question: "Why wouldn't you want to include the location?"...well I have no problem in adding a location which I have done many times but and might not think something is as important as somebody else and they can always click the name and get more information. You know this is not a job...I was just trying to share information about Adam that I find...I am not perfect in my information gathering. Time for me to say good night. Adamrocks! Thank you very much for sharing information

I was thinking about the same when I read this post, but didn't have time to post about it. Mireille and me wouldn't have been here without Queen and I bet there are some others as well. There are some more that have recently discovered Adam.
