Just saw ALN video on the livestream! They're playing GT now!! Is the livestream on now? After many parts of music videos were shown, I'm not seeing anything now. I saw that they played part of ALN video earlier..

Well, I for one would much rather he feel that he can try new things without being perfect at it right out of the gate. We know he has rarely used Falsetto so obviously it is not going to be a strong as other things but his lower register wasn't all that strong or well developed either until he started exercising it more. I don't have a problem with comments that it needs work but saying he shouldn't use it is going a bit far isn't it? Glad my ears aren't that discerning because while I agree it isn't as spectacular as other parts of his range he is one of the few artists whose falsetto doesn't make me cringe. Should he only do things he's already perfect at for the rest of his career? By the way the Mad World last note according to Adam was him accidentally jumping to the harmony note instead of the note he was supposed to hit. Think it was in the Idolatry interview where he explained what happened. I was not going to comment on this at all -- but this post inspired me. Adam needs to keep trying new things, to keep evolving and growing. It is what drives him and energizes him. He has said it in interviews, we have all seen it over the years. Some of my favorite Adam moments are when he tries something new. Sometimes it works, sometimes it needs more work, but it is always interesting. Adam's most famous vocal performance could be "Mad World" -- and that ended with him singing the wrong note. It was perfection -- even though it has one off note (when he sung the harmony note.) TISI at Morongo was not vocally perfect but I will remember it forever because it was emotionally connected -- and literally everyone in the room was totally engaged with his performance. For LITV Adam performed new acoustic arrangements of electro-pop songs -- and the transformation was magical. Were all the vocals perfect? No of course not. But was the performance electric and emotionally connected and did people have a great experience? Yes, yes, yes. JMHO Adam does not sing every note perfectly, but I do think he is perfect. Two different things. "There's no comfort in comfort..... I need the edge"
