Our Radio station 3FM always has an action for a charity cause in the week leading up to Christmas for which 3 DJ's lock themselves up in a Glass House with no solid foods for the duration of the action called Serious Request. Everybody can request songs by donating money to the charity. This year they raised almost 7.6 million euro's for children and young people in war and conflict area's in the world. From the moment they leave the house the radio station starts playing a list of the most requested songs as they can't play all the songs during the stay in the house. Ghost Town was played once during that stay and was requested quite often. In that list of 2125 most requested songs: ALN is #342! GT is #153! They will be played on December 30 and December 31st respectively. See also: seriousrequest.3fm.nl/topseriousrequest/2015/zoek?q=adam+lambertWith the reasons I see a lot of young children that wanted to hear the song. Really great! Thank you skaschep for all the awesome news about GT and ALN in Netherlands. It always makes me very happy to hear about Adam's music being successful.

ETA: I checked Moscow tickets info and unfortunately it is not correct: tickets are allocated to different sellers in blocks and one must track all of them to see the real picture...For instance I checked the Crocus Hall site and they have plenty of available tickets that are different from the site linked in the spreadsheet www.crocus-hall.ru/tickets/online/10318?lang=enThe same situation might apply to some other venues... Tracking tour ticket sales is a huge project and I am very grateful to the person doing it! Just keep in mind the difficulty of navigating in foreign languages and different distribution systems....

I need cassie's help on this -- something about this particular "hiiii-iii-iiiigh" vocal run (from TOH during Kissmas Bash) sounds so so good to me -- it's not like the usual "high" he sings, it's something about this one (or more) weird note within the vocal run that makes it sound so good as a whole. Am I making any sense??? https://www.instagram.com/p/_SESGhONIP

Am I making any sense??? https://www.instagram.com/p/_SESGhONIP Normally Adam soars up to the E5 and just holds it for about 8 beats in the song. This time, he held it briefly, and then riffed. It is an impressive run, isn't it? From a high note of E5, it cascades down to an F#4 with 16 notes in rapid succession. For those of you who read music, it is eight and sixteenth notes: E5, D5, C#5, D5, C#5, B4, C#5, B4, A4, B4, B4, B4 A4 B4 A4 F#4 8 16 16 8 16 16 16 16 16 8 8 16 4.5 16 16 4.5
(Damn, I wish I had a program that would write musical notes on a staff. It would be so much easier.) For those reading this post to whom that is gibberish, in layman's terms, it is a run of 16 distinct notes in three seconds, right on pitch, very clean and clear. in a very high range, improvised off the cuff. That takes 1) musicality to create such a sequence on the fly that fits that well, 2) great breath support to sustain thru that extended phrase with power and accuracy and 3) meticulous technique to make such rapid, small, and accurate changes to the vocal cords. Not sure I answered your question?
