I have been traveling all day -- and I see I missed nothing. Which I guess is good and bad.
In the meantime, it is 10:03PM and it is 86 degrees in Louisiana. We have the air conditioning on!

There are probably a few of our math majors scratching their heads right now, trying to figure out why 4.5 = 3/8 in music, but I am sure that Holst, and natglamp and the many others here who deal with sheet music regularly had figured that out long before me. Tbh, Adam sings this sequence so fast, I would not even be able to correctly write down those notes. So your notation was very much appreciated.
Re the software, I cannot say anything about it, I am not familiar with it, but looked at a couple of the tutorials and they look pretty solid. Can't tell you how much marketing or other catches come with that little word 'free'.
Q3, good to hear from you. Hope you were not impacted by all the storms. Thought of you, when they were going through northern Mississippi, two days ago. Safe travels.

We got a bit of flooding -- but no damage.

it is not really 4.5 but 1/4 (2/8) and a half of 1/4 (1/8), so 2/8+1/8=3/8 in music notation it is the note on the left:

We have the air conditioning on! well come on across the border to Texas, you can pick - 85 degrees in the south & east, tornadoes in north central or a blizzard in north west Texas...just a normal day here.

I am in southwestern Louisiana -- close enough for me!! I have unlimited fresh shucked, grilled oysters and Abida on tap here. No think I will stay in Louisiana. And I know that I will eventually get a lot of snow up north when I return to Ohio.
