That's really a wonderful, interesting and detailed review... And I actually share a lot of the thoughts here. Definitely worth a read We differ on this article... IMHO,It's all about how much the writer knows about the music scene past and present.. I think she wants folks to explain Adam for clicks.. How I see Adam's tour.Adam hasn't been a BIG presence in America in the last few years. A great deal of his touring has been with Queen and much has been as a world wide star. In a way I see this U.S. tour as here I am I'm back from touring the world.I think Adam will always be a bit left of center in American pop stardom. He's unique, He can sing any genre and sing most songs better than the original singers..I think he will always appeal to a certain population and therefore may never reach the heights of U.S. fandom..He's kind of like a character actor.. who never gets the lead roles ,but endures and has longevity. IMO that's pretty good. Adam's touring in appropriate venues. In fact, there are many singers who have bigger hits who are opening for other artists. I have not read this article/review just making a general comment that I agree, Adam does not have a BIG presence in the US. He could build a presence as a touring artist by constant touring, with a high-profile regular role on TV and/or by having a few big hits. ETA: One of Adam's biggest challenges COMMERCIALLY is that he does not fit into any genre.

Adam tweeted this review, and there's only one comment and it's awful. So if you're inclined to add a comment, please do.

Morning musings about Adam and if there is a disconnect between His fantastic voice and the songs he sings and where he sings them.
My granddaughter of 14 said and I quote" I love Adam's voice but not his songs" I hear this really often from my family and friends.. Not so when he sings Queen songs live.. They seem to match his incredible voice.
I keep thinking of Luigi Pirandillo's play "Six Characters in Search of an Author". I often think of Adam's voice in a similiar way Amazing voice in search of a song. This is not a new thought here on Adamtopia...Adam just needs that one song has been stated quite a few times. Thinking further.. Maybe It's not the songs, but how and where they are delivered.
There have been some songs IMHO that have matched or almost matched the Quality of Adam's vocals but somehow CDS can't capture Adam's voice like a live performance.I think he has to be seen and heard inorder to be believed. He is the ultimate performer.
He was discovered on TV It's where he shines.. Adam Live brings his songs to life.. Just maybe the disconnect is not in the songs Adam sings, but where and how they are performed.

I'm going to agree with that there. Don't shoot me... We all have a different opinion of him, his voice, his work, and he's only done 3 albums but so much other work. As Adam gets easily bored, I hope he will continue to explore new territory with his instrument, because I think he's got so much more in him.
