It is the core fans who listen to the streams who seem to be most disappointed. I agree.

I was very pleased with Dainty Group in NZ/OZ where we got 90 minutes for each show/venue. Everything was pretty consistent from venue to venue. Kudos to Dainty.
I had to go to Urban Dictionary to look up "North Pole".....lol. I was actually thinking dirtier than it is....lol. Yes, Adam you can turn into a north pole and we can see what is cold....lol
North Pole
Slang term for an erection; slang for boner.

It seems there is a lot blaming the victim and purposefully altering the issue. It is less about the length of the show, or even difference in length...it is the arbitrariness of the whole thing. If you know what you are getting...fine. If there is a fair reason for it, also fine.
If you went to a restaurant with friends and you all ordered the same dish...but some people got soup and desert and others only the entre. The food was awesome and all loved it. All paid the same price. Would you see that as reasonable? How legitimate would it be if the restaurant claimed the reason was ...some had eaten there before so did not desearve the extra? Or that the menu only stated the entre so any extra was just the good will of the chef and those customers were lucky...furthermore, you were being really entitled if you felt you deserved the same as the others.

I was guilty of saying that perhaps the first section was too long with dark songs and I still think that....so be careful what you say...lol. BUT.....I really love the LMD, Shady, Fever stretch and hope These Boys comes back, since it's so fun as well. Bottom line.....I'm gonna try and concentrate on all the positives.....and there are many! Embrace the joy! Now to find some vids.....want to see all that sexy Q3 talked about!

Q3...Thanks so much for streaming for us...You did good! I think that 1 hr 23 minutes musta included some of the intro....lol. Anyway, glad you got a great/sexy show. I like Shosh, but she does put out "vague" and "BS" at times. ( the comment about the 90 minute shows being the exception/special is BS) But that's her job, and for the most part I think she does it well. Adam seems pleased with her. My question...if the "length" of the show is determined by each venue, according to Shosh, and the reason behind the short set list...which she implied is the baseline/normal set list....why would the venue care how many songs he did...as opposed to the overall time for the entire show, including the opening act which Adam wants to help extend the showtime. Seems the venue would only be concerned about how much total time is used in their venue. That 45 minute time break between Alex and Adam....seems to me could be cut to 30 minutes, and each show could be more "uniform" in length...if indeed, length is actually the inhibitor of his set list. May be a factor, but not sure I totally buy it. Having said all that and being skeptical for the "whys"....The Show that he does put on is excellent in presentation and vocals with non-stop energy, and that's the most important thing to me. I don't know anything but maybe Adam's people say something like "We have a 90-minute show, and a 75-minute show," and the amount of money or percentage Adam gets from the venue depends on the length of the show? The venue then decides which one they want. And it wouldn't make any difference if the break between Alex and Adam were 15 minutes or an hour, Adam would still perform for that length of time. As for what songs/medleys are cut or added (whichever way you want to look at it), people would probably complain that their favorite was cut. The Runnin' medley is great, but there seem to be a lot of Lucy fans! TISI is a core fan favorite, but then maybe the middle "slow" section is too long and slow for some people. Adam can't win. I talked to a lot of people at the Charlotte concert. There were almost no "Glamberts" at this show -- but there were a lot of Idol fans. About half the people in the M&G had seen Adam once -- at Idols Live. And most saw the GNT Charlotte show - 6 years ago. >> Many people in their late teens-early 20's who were fans since Idol. Many people in the audience knew all the music and sang along. I think he has to perform his singles - GT, FYE, WWFM, Another Lonely Night, NCOE plus Mad World. WWFM and MW got the biggest cheers last night. Lucy is great live. I am not a huge fan of the recording but it works so well with Adam, Holly and Adam Ross. Adam even performed WWFM with a lot of attitude -- excuse the express but almost a FU attitude.. TISI would not have fit last night's show very well -- I think it is a Glambert favorite, but this was not really a Glambert show. (Atlantic City had a ton of classic Glamberts). And yes, you are right, the concert did not have a curfew. I asked. This has to be a contracted number of songs/concert length. Nothing else makes sense. Note: Adam can't add in songs to a negotiated concert deal or he will loose his negotiation power for future concerts. Finally, tickets for this show were $40. Yes, about 100 people bought VIP tickets and about 100 bought $25 Fast Lane early admission, but the other 1,800 or so people paid $40. It was an amazing show for $40.

Very true. And to me it's so obvious that I'm astounded anyone could think any differently. For me, it's perfectly possible to think that something is patently unfair without being the least angry and upset about it and whilst still enjoying very much what we ARE getting. I think you feel the same.

The complainers all seem to be assuming that all tickets are the same price, but it seems that some venue's cheapest tickets are less than others. $40 is a rediculously low price for a live Adam show regardless of length. I've paid $60 (and drove 400 miles) to hear Adam sing 3 songs, and it was worth it! I'm with Q3 ... If you go expecting a fabulous show, rather than xx number of minutes, or song xyz, you will come away astounded once again at what an amazing experience It is seeing Adam live.
