DancyGeorgia - nice list.
Having finally fixed the problem for several people, I suggest a different order and particularly moved up enabling JavaScript. Also, since this is happening to people who were able to see embedded media until a few months ago or 6 months ago, I do not believe it is likely to be a capacity, memory or hard drive issue.
Since it is only embedded video and images that are being block, Javascript or media blocking are the most likely culprits.
Here is a revised list. For starters -- if you are not seeing media on this site, it is being blocked by something on your device -- IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ADAMTOPIA, TWITTER OR IG. There have been no changes affecting embedded media on this forum for almost a year. The last change only affected mobile.
It could be that Javascript is not enabled in your browser (see below) or it is being blocked by a browser plugin. If media is being blocked, there should be some indication in your browser toolbar of what is blocking the media. Here is an image of a Disconnect plug-in blocking media -- see the D with the green flag and number 18 on the right side of the tool bar. That says it blocked 18 items. Make sure your have nothing like this happening.

>> IF YOU USE FIREFOX -- Try using FireFox is safe mode -- instructions here:
support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1081873 If you can see embedded media in safe mode, then it is a FireFox add on causing the problem. Turn them off until you figure out which it is. MOST add ons will show how many things they have blocked.

1) Make sure your browser is up to date. I test this forum with FireFox, Chrome and Safari. Current versions:
Firefox - 45.0.1
Chrome - 49.0.2623.87
Safari - depends on device
> If you are using Opera it has a built-in ad blocker and you should switch to a mainstream browser.
> If you are using Internet Explorer, I recommend you switch to a more capable browser like FireFox or Chrome.
2) Make sure that you have enabled JavaScript in your browser. Upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings. With some antivirus subscriptions this is automatic and looks like a routine update.Google Chrome users:
Click the Chrome menu icon (hamburger) on the browser toolbar.
Select Settings.
On the "Settings" page, click the Show advanced settings... link.
In the "Privacy" section, click Content settings...
Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) in the "JavaScript" section.

AdBlock will block embedded social media because they look like ads to the program. Turn it off or live with blocked media or change your settings to allow social media. It is easy to turn off.
4) Check browser plug-ins to see if any are causing the problem.
If you use Avast antivirus, it will block embedded media. Turn it off and see if that is the problem.
The Disconnect Chrome plugin will also block embedded media. Turn it off.
If you use FireFox, try safe mode - instructions above.
5) If you never turn off your device, shut it down and wait 2 minutes before turning it on again.
6) If you use a computer, clear the browser cache and other temporary files. Then turn off the device and wait 2 minutes before turning it on again. To clear your browser cache in Google Chrome
