twitter.com/VioletFeline/status/71795917403914240011 Favorite Adam Lambert ‘American Idol’ PerformancesApril 7, 2016 2:13 AM By Lisa Gold It is the end of an era, as tonight will wrap the two-part finale of the fifteenth and final season of American Idol. Although my interest has waned over the last several seasons, this show will always hold a special place in my heart. For many years I was glued to my TV– phone in hand, ready to vote immediately after Ryan said, “Phone lines are open!” I’ve cheered on many contestants and purchased countless albums and singles. And as the ‘Best-Of’ compilation lists and retrospectives continue to fill my social media feeds this week with feels (and maybe a few tears!), I’ve decided to share my piece. Ultimately, Idol introduced me to a voice that undoubtedly changed my life forever — Adam Lambert. There were truly tons of fantastic artists who’ve come off this show, no doubt. But none as remarkable to me as Adam. With a swagger invoking Elvisy undertones, a smile that can light up an entire arena and vocals that SLAY, this man was born to perform! The Season 8 runner-up easily became my favorite recording artist ever since. Because I’m feeling all nostalgic, let’s revisit some of my favorite Adam Lambert performances on American Idol! Adam has returned the show every season in some capacity, so I’m including return performances as well! Read more: 965tic.cbslocal.com/2016/04/07/11-favorite-adam-lambert-american-idol-performances/

It is past midnight but I just need to share. My nephew who saw the concert last Sunday, he is a professional musician, just sent me the following text, 'I still can't get over how good Adam Lambert was. I haven't stopped talking about him.'
AOBTD!

AOBTD! Love this! Thanks for sharing. Very cool to know that Adam made such a huge impression on your nephew. The fact that he is a professional musician makes it even more "legit". It was lovely meeting you, mayumi.

watchng the Ad docu. I think why mw resonated so well. Is i beleive it spoke of Adam. But like Elvis. Adam has this rare innate ability. No matter if its hundreds of thousands of ppl. Or ten. He feels like hes singing to you and you alone. To connect with the masses on that lvl. Really gave birth to a future music legend. Adam and Kelly well forever be the true embodiment of what idol stood for. But ironically is why Adam lost. What he stood for was not what a certain subset of the audience voted for. Your singing for America so you better carry the flag. Adam was not that. He was so different ans unique. Audience just preferred the other guy. But the audience he did connect with on such a deep lvl. The consumers. Are who mattered. Adam singing Beth was my all time fav idol moment.
