I kept wondering what looked so different about Adam in this, and just realized - no sunglasses! He almost always wears them when he's out in public. He looks pretty cute here.

If Adam had been a football player in high school, his 240lbs would have been admired and considered an asset. This reviewer did everything he could think of to demean Adam. He doesn't have to like Adam's music but he pushed the envelope. It is true that writing is an easy way to attack and destroy. I so wish I could meet this human eyeball to eyeball. I would like to take a measure of the "man". And I wouldn't need to say a word.

I am glad to see Adam retweeted the mv. He must like it well enough. The chimp is cute and the girl is beyond lovely - I like her fashion, and she reminds me of Chrissy Tiegen.
But, ultimately for me, the silly weirdness of it undermines the song because its lyrics aren't silly or weird. Just my opinion - I do think it is cleverly done, but I don't really like the concept. Disappointed because "Twitter says" Aoki usually includes the collab in the video, and I'd have preferred seeing Adam over the chimp any day.
I usually love all things Adam-related, just not this one :/. Still love the song, tho.

Can't Go Home video - Why is nobody interpreting this literally as in chimp stolen from forest and wants to go back home to family? Kind of like Planet of the Apes - newer series. If I was to interpret it at all then it is Chimp is picked from obscurity and becomes a star (ie the photo of him with some other celebrity or just getting in the news) but anymore he's just hanging out because that's what he's done for so long that he doesn't remember how to do anything else. Girl comes along, feels sorry for him, find the picture of family. He thinks family won't accept him anymore, she thinks differently, makes plan to sail with him and drop him off on his island so he can find his family.
The chimp could represent anyone. Somebody like Carrie Underwood for example or Dolly Parton. Anybody who for some reason (willingly or otherwise) hits it big but who really just wants things to be how they were but doesn't know how, too much has changed. It's really a sad story but in this case his friend is going to help him because she believes his family will still accept him back.

YES! A great show! Crazy sing along audience! I was there!! It seems when Adam does show in the South they audiences seem to embrace him. Am I wrong about this? We Do!!! He said in Atlanta he loves it in the South.....the audiences are loud and let you know they're having a good time. Wish he had done more this time down south....Memphis, Louisville, NO, etc. During GNT he had wonderful audiences all over the south. The Memphis Idol Tour show had the loudest screams I've ever heard. I'll put our Atlanta Tabernacle TOHT audience up against any other US audience as far as loud/party/fun atmosphere goes. #HotlantaBaby
