Man! This is excellent German. He probably understands much more than he lets on, because this sentence is darn fluid. Way beyond just 'I took five lessons in high school...'. The strange thing is that it is southern sounding, which is not what he would have heard people say in and around Berlin, during his stay in 2003 there. He rolls the 'rrr' in the way that a Bavarian or Austrian would, if they were trying to speak high German, rather than their usual dialect. His 2003 stays in Munich, Mannheim and Linz, were supposedly each for only a couple of days, so I doubt that would have made such a difference. I would have assumed he picked up a Berliner accent, while there. But far from it. Maybe he took a few German classes while over there, and happened to have a teacher from the South of Germany. Who knows. But hearing this, I would be very cautious with German around Adam, if I wouldn't want him to understand me, lol. He probably can pick up much more of a conversation than we think. Just like in Spanish, which he also knows better than he lets on, I believe. Always humble, just like he is with other things. Quite amazing.

I like the Can't Go Home video!!! I don't know why there should be any angst about it. IMHO, it is just meant to be fun and not meant to be really deep or to dish Adam in any way. I was wondering if I was the only one! Yay! I am glad you like it - I hope lots of folks do! But I don't. That's all, no need for angst, I agree.

He said it was a very easy language to pick up! I think some people have a "knack" for picking up languages. My hubby and son are 2 of those people. Me, not so much!

Actually, I kind of like the picture. The other ones on the link of the celebrities are a similar style. He seems to have something sticking out of his head. But then, he IS talking of GOT, where half the characters wind up with stuff sticking out of their bodies. Didn't know he followed the show. It really is an epic.
Loool no! Somebody stuck a pike through his head. Good practice for RHPS too!
Haha! I really jumped the gun on my comment, too. I hadn't read the article before I posted. But regardless, a spike thingy through your head is very GOT. It can real a real gore-fest.

I think the video is just fine. I just figured that the whole chimp thing was about being taken out of your natural element and finding it hard to "go back home again" because you're life has changed too much. That theory kind of fits the video. But regardless of that, it IS Steve's song and he can do what he wants with it. Nothing cuter than a chimp, and if the chimp is a novelty that attracts viewers who will hear Adam's voice, that's ok with me. He has lots of followers.

Guess what? I understand it is not Adam's video and I understand that Aoki can do whatever he wants.

Adam is in the mv, hello the voice lol. Its a feat vocal collab. I really like the mv. Some dont get it whatever. I.think.its susppsed to personify the relationship between animal and human. I think it links the two. And obviously like some said Chimp.taken out of his comfort zone with a Woman. And wanting to.go home. Its silly, its different, its bold. Its Adam haha.

I think the CGH video is fun -- and harmless. But there is one thing I love about it. For some reason when I watch it, Adam's vocal seems even more prominent than in the audio only version. Is that because it is as light as a feather and requires very little thought? Perhaps. I am too tired to figure it out but damn I love this song/vocal.
