Because Eurovision is not cheezy like American Idol and it is a song competiton and it is amazing and they did not franchise it all over the world and etc. etc. etc. They are just not comparable. That said, Adam is famous because of Idol. Adam would never have been signed by a major label and we would not know of him without Idol. When I saw Adam perform in Charlotte, all the people around me and at the M&G were fans from Idol. All of them. (We were a small group and spent a lot of time together, waiting, waiting, waiting -- so I did a survey. ) ABBA for example broke through because of the 1974 Eurovision win, but they already had released an album and had hits -- although not the massive hits they achieved after Eurovision. Ahhh. Okay, that sounds reasonable, so I'll stop being angry. Thanks. Ha! My dream is for Adam to be the lead vocalist for the first US Eurovision entry -- although the US being part of it is very unlikely. But maybe next year, Adam can perform.

Look at the veins in his neck, or are they arteries. I suppose singing for all these years has caused them to become huge. I've noticed them before and wondered about it. Cassie.....is this common in singers? That is an artery -- the external carotid artery -- it sit right on top of a very large muscle on the side of the neck -- the sternocleidomastoid muscle. It is not unusually for it to be prominent in a man -- particularly in this position.
