Eurovisin A bit over the top for me. I prefer idol well.when it was on lol. Or The Voice currently. It targets my mainstream sensibilities. If Adam performs great. Looking forward to Queen now.

Look at the veins in his neck, or are they arteries. I suppose singing for all these years has caused them to become huge. I've noticed them before and wondered about it. Cassie.....is this common in singers? That is an artery -- the external carotid artery -- it sit right on top of a very large muscle on the side of the neck -- the sternocleidomastoid muscle. It is not unusually for it to be prominent in a man -- particularly in this position. Hi Bamafan. I don't know if singing causes arteries to become prominent, although physical workouts might. Amongst classical singers, "veins popping out" while singing is undesirable as it's a sign there is extra muscle tension going on in the neck. I don't know if Adam is singing at the moment of this photo.
