So just a short summary: I went to Cologne alone by train last Friday and arrived there at noon. And as soon as I left the train station I was making myself comfortable at a cafe directly located under the impressive Cologne cathedral. That's where I met Nicole (nic42). We hadn't met in person before, just chatted on twitter or Atop and there we were sitting, sipping our coffee in the sun and chatting away as if we've known each other for years! And btw Nicole is an absolute sweetheart and so much fun to talk to!!That's what I love most about our fandom, this connection or bond or whatever you would like to call it which Adam and his music create. Yep, I completely concur with this, she is an absolute honey... And I won't forget riding the S-Bahn (urban train) after the concert with other peeps covered in golden glitter, making the trains windows immediately foggy with the damp from our soaking wet clothes. As the others wrote before you could find glitter all over Cologne the next day which was so cool to see. This conjures great images! Actually I managed after all those years to meet up finally with the warm-hearted and lovely Betty and her adorable husband Ralf on the following Saturday and together with the wizard of numbers Simone (skaschep, which I pronounced totally wrong beforehand ) we did some sightseeing in Cologne and chitchatted away before I left for the trainride home. What a wonderful, wonderful time I had! Life is good We did this in Amsterdam too after the gig, with Skapchep, Betty and her wonderful husband Ralf (he really is), Mireille and Nic42...and it was the best fun I've had in ages, leaves me feeling all warm inside...Call me soppy, but these things mean a lot to me too.. I would really love to meet all of you someday

I would really love to meet all of you someday I totally agree...all these amazing recaps make me Happy to hear of all these connections made through concerts this past year. Even though I chose not to attend a 2016 gig---for one reason or another, maybe someday I will get back to the surprising people experiences ---the connecting and bonding that I experienced in the past. Adam has pulled things out of me...opening my eyes, heart, mind to life experiences, and experiences that are life. Ie what makes us common. ...funny how traveling alone, or travelling for 10 days with an Atopper who had travelled to a few concerts with another Atopper I met at a pre concert dinner, who happened to be an acquaintance of a friend...WHO DOES THAT. ..seems NOT JUST ME . THEN there is always the chance to meeting up with new people/past acquaintances upon arrival. OR having people stay in my home for a concert whom I had never met. It all seemed rather crazy to me in the beginning, and certainly out of my wheelhouse. And for sure my family thought I was nuts. ---Met a crazy fan with a bizarre story while sitting with momtomany in the lobby of a hotel in Vancouver. She was staying in a room with 3 others she did not know. All I can say is she was NOT from Adamtopia. Haha I have been joyously lucky so far in meeting wonderful Atopers.
