There's a lot of action in this song! Hoists up his pants again at 2:25 (boy must be losing weight on this tour). Hangs onto the towel for dear life, uses it as a prop. The wonderful laugh at 4:40 in response to the crowd mimicking him. Takes off the jacket and tries to put it on the mic but it falls, leaves it there and retrieves it later but drops it again. Puts in the Tina moves. Pose after pose after pose. And the vocals, well, what can I say?

I doubt that the lyrics are the stumbling point. Adam has a very good ear for dialogue and accents. I would think he would be more hesitant because of uncertainty about how it would fit into the flow of the show, and the personas he creates for it. It would create a jarring shift in concentration and presentation, as well as vocal style and delivery. A different mind set for him, and for the audience. I know that Brian frequently adds a local tune or a snippet of it in his solo section, but that is already a section with a different energy to it. Where would Adam put it within the parts of the set he performs? That is more likely to be what he is thinking rather than learning the song. IMO. So thrilled for the Israeli fans!!!!!!
LOVED the interview! So casual, conversational and fun, yet informative.
Agree that there really isn't an appropriate place for Adam to sing this within a QAL concert (as much as it would be phenomenal to hear). "Hatikvah" played by Brian with an audience sing-along would probably be a better fit. I don't think Hatikvah would work. It is the national anthem of Israel, of the Jews of Israel to be exact, and therefor not inclusive. But Song for Peace would be perfect for Brian's solo. It isn't always sung so slowly as Adam (appropriately) sang it in the memorial. it can be very up tempo. And everybody here loves that song. Here's an example of how it was sung in a famous Israeli film from 1978 (it's a film about a military band lol): www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDjZivY2eDA

Timing lines up, IMO possible...but regardless the very idea that Dr. Bri asks to get in touch with Adam and can't sounds ridiculous... I wonder who decided to "block" Adam from this life changing opportunity... all these behind the scenes details are fascinating and often surprising...

Full interviewQueen, Adam Lambert and me Assi Azar www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ifokgly-FAPublished on Jun 26, 2016 My interview with Brain May and Adam Lambert. They will perform in Israel on September 12! Go if u can, Its a great concert! what a wonderful, warm and engaged interview! and now we know : Dr. Bri tried to get in touch with Adam some time during 2009-10 and COULDN'T GET THROUGH ![:o](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/icon_eek.gif) , the first medley was performed in Dublin :D , Park Ha Yarkon is the largest Israeli venue with 50K audience, Gold Circle is sold, they might sing Shir Le Shalom! - I will be in some super-heaven if this happens! Adam will party after the show and Bri wants a party at or in the Dead Sea - floating! just awesome! TY wal for bringing! I love this interview and the interviewer, he's so relax. I think they were already decided to work with Adam after they performed on AI finale, but Adam was occupied and was trying to build his own career. And the time when Brian tried to call Adam was when he was in LA studio with Meat Loaf when he heard Time for Miracles. Assi Azar said there will be 80K in the audience and I would love to hear Adam sing that song again. It will gives everybody goose bump and some people probably will be in tears because it's so beautiful.

Padua's newspapers talk about a sold-out, with 12,000 fans. More than last year's concert at Forum di Assago.Till some weeks ago, it seemed to be very hard to reach the sold-out, considering that till 2 weeks ago dozens of tickets wer still available. But in the very last week, all the remaining tickets were sold. As far as I'm concerned, every time Queen call, I'll be present - at least in Italy! 8-)

I went into BSC mode and checked flights from Venice to Sydney...based on the time of his "arrivederci" snap I made the assumptions that he'd be taking an early afternoon flight and it would be the shortest possible one as the distance and the time difference makes the timing very tight. My (wild) guess is he'd be taking the Emirates flight : June 26 3:35p to 11:35p 6h Venice (VCE) to Dubai (DXB)Marco Polo (VCE) to Dubai Intl. (DXB)Emirates 136 2h 40m stop Dubai (DXB) June 27 2:15a to 10:05p 13h 50m Dubai (DXB) to Sydney (SYD)Dubai Intl. (DXB) to Kingsford Smith Intl. (SYD)Emirates 414 another option Ethihad Airways - but I am not sure he could've made the noon flight... 12:00p to 8:00p 6h Venice (VCE) to Abu Dhabi (AUH)Marco Polo (VCE) to Abu Dhabi Intl. (AUH)Etihad Airways 2879 operated by Alitalia 1h 55m stop Abu Dhabi (AUH) 9:55p to 5:55p 14h Overnight · Arrives Tue, Jun 27 Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Sydney (SYD)Abu Dhabi Intl. (AUH) to Kingsford Smith Intl. (SYD)Etihad Airways 454 in any case he arrives evening June 28 27th and goes to work a day later the next morning! OMG! I have no idea how he deals with jet-lag and maintains this constant high energy level...I guess melatonin and those energy drinks are his best friends... He said Melantonin. He sleeps during flight and fresh when wake up.

We don't know yet how many will buy tickets though...

This is probably why Adam didn't fly with the band to Heathrow airport with their jet, because they're staying in Venice for few days to relax.
