As there was some discussion last night about Adam's success in the US I just wanted to give you some numbers: Youtube views on video's from Adam since 1 September 2014:1 United States 76,773,291 total views2 Poland 44,310,462 total views 3 Brazil 34,501,717 total views 4 Mexico 19,182,573 total views 5 Thailand 16,849,705 total views 6 United Kingdom 16,789,029 total views 7 Vietnam 14,980,616 total views 8 Russia 14,263,174 total views 9 Canada 11,948,956 total views 10 South Korea 10,883,144 total views Check: www.youtube.com/yt/artists/insights-artist.html?artist=%2Fm%2F07sbny7&artistName=Adam%2520LambertYoutube views in the last week:1 United States 868,377 total views2 Brazil 297,430 total views 3 Poland 213,014 total views 4 Germany 182,393 total views 5 Mexico 168,930 total views 6 Thailand 168,705 total views 7 Russia 146,979 total views 8 United Kingdom 144,664 total views 9 Vietnam 123,073 total views 10 South Korea 110,056 total views Check: www.youtube.com/yt/artists/insights-artist.html?artist=%2Fm%2F07sbny7&artistName=Adam%2520Lambert&sd=2016-11-18T20%3A31%3A33Z&ed=2016-11-24T20%3A31%3A33ZTotal Spotify streams for Ghost Town (from chart positions):1 United States 14,862,975 2 Germany 11,805,561 3 Netherlands 9,496,046 4 Sweden 9,001,957 5 Mexico 5,894,711 6 Brazil 5,139,721 7 Denmark 4,277,486 8 Australia 3,933,416 9 Finland 3,584,221 10 Norway 2,320,091 Ghost Town certifications:United States 500,000Germany 200,000 Australia 140,000 Netherlands 90,000 Sweden 80,000 Denmark 60,000 Poland 20,000 Austria 15,000 See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Town_(Adam_Lambert_song)The US is and has been always Adam's biggest country in sales. Shoshanna also confirmed that he sold the most TOH albums in the US, then the UK and then the rest of the world. The rest of the world however is big and since he's a worldwide star he has to divide his attention to a lot of countries. His songs are still played on US radio. I see evidence of that on twitter every day. The US has a lot of radio stations though and that can cause that you don't hear him. I don't hear him much nowadays either here in the Netherlands, but I know that his songs (WWFM and GT) are still played even though I don't hear them myself. THANK YOU So much for this! I had to stay out of last night's "doom & gloom, why not this," discussion. Seems we have a lot to celebrate in Adam's career. Can never understand the negativity, especially about US! GT was on the BBHot 100 for 17 weeks! It reached Top 20 in the US top 2 radio formats. That song was on the radio from April until October! My goodness, he made 10 million or more in 2015! Poor guy! Sorry that you are defining the conversation that I was having last night with 3ku1 as doom and gloom. It was far from that. Neither was it negative. We all have different opinions and perspectives. Hopefully in an Adam forum they can be freely discussed. I like conversing with 3ku1. He has strong convictions and thoughts. He is refreshing to throw the ball back and forth with. At least he engages and doesn't slink in the background to criticize. He can hold his own and so can I. The conversation was about MY feeling that US radio can play him more. Not that he WASN'T played at all. Yes, Ghost Town was played for 6 months. I am aware of that. It also took 6 months for it to bottom out at #19 Top 40. In many radio stations it was played in the overnight. Many stations never played it all. Mississippi comes to mind. Seacrest is syndicated throughout Canada. You were hard pressed to hear it there. Not saying you didn't, but it was not widely heard there. For a song to become a smash hit, radio stations play the song over and over and over to the point of nausea. THAT IS WHAT I WANTED FOR ADAM. Ghost Town was a modest hit. You can't say it was a smash though. THIS is why I say it is frustrating to me. I adore Adam but I don't want to live in a perfect bubble and wear rose tinted glasses when it comes to my thoughts about his career and radio play. What's the point in that? A true and honest discussion about him is more welcoming to me by 3ku1 than pie in the sky and denial. You point out that he made 10 million in 2015. I am aware of that too. And we know that most of that came from QAL. My wish is that in the future and with his OWN songs and talent that he will earn that plus. I believe that it will happen with my whole heart. The world will catch up with his genius. I am sure of it. I do agree with you that we have a lot to celebrate with his career. I never said we didn't. He is spectacular to stan and follow. As fans we are so spoiled by this amazing work-a-holic. He never stops. It is never too long till he is doing something that we can enjoy. It is his RADIO PLAY that I hope will improve next album. I am glad to see that shaschep posted the lists Thanks for that. It's nice to see. Next time, I would suggest you ask me or engage me in a post BEFORE you deem it doom and gloom. You know what the old saying is about assuming. It could have been put to rest last night instead of you snarking me today.

Not sure where Q3 is today. She didn't ask me to do the thread. Hopefully she is just busy. I am putting my house to rights after having 14 for dinner and my son and his crazy dog here. :D loving the comment about the crazy dog visiting...have grand daughter and her crazy dog,,a golden retreiver..so my two old lady dogs and I are in our camper in our driveway until he leaves...the golden is so beautiful and a true feeling heart dog... She is a spitfire mini Aussie who was stuck in because it pored here. My two chihuahuas spent two days in my room. One of my dogs doesn't mind her but the other would like her to just go away whenever she visits.

I think Adam has a wonderful worldwide and diverse career. He made 10mil mostly on the Queen tour. But he made 6mil on his solo FYE tour and 5mil mostly on the Trespassing tour. My guess is he did well with TOH world tour as well as the recent Queen tour. He gets a lot of press worldwide and a good amount in the states. But I too would like to hear him more on US radio. His success worldwide is superior to the amount of radio he receives and that is a testament to his talent and interest. GT started to play in my area after it had peaked so it did not play for long. ANL never got any play. And I am thankful for the play and chart positions he received anywhere. And yes I expect my area to play a lot of Taylor, Katy, Bieber, Adele, Rihanna and Bruno. But every song over and over released by Selena, Demi, Nick, Joe, Megan Trainor, Ariana, Mendes, Charlie Pugh etc, is just maddening. IMO, wishing for more radio play for him in the US is not saying he is unsuccessful. It is simply wishing for more radio play which would give him better chart positions, more tv exposure, nomination chances and more people at his concerts. Making music for radio is almost a fantasy. They will play who and what they want to play anyway. Some would just like to hear more Adam and there is nothing wrong with expressing a wish for that. If I lived in another country and heard him there it would be fine. But I live here so would like to hear him in my neck of the woods, lol.

Music related, tv, movie etc. I am sure he has a lot going on aside from writing for the 4th album, so it could be anything imo. May be that 2nd dance track or may be something completely new and unexpected... I am ready to be surprised!

This is really cool! Kind of reminds me when we had "Beatles" Sunday at our church. The whole service was Beatles music. Largest crowd at church that we had in months. Music is very powerful!

I agree with what everyone is saying. Adam is wonderful and does extremely well, but a lot of it is outside the US and there is nothing wrong with that! Adam and Queen is inspired and I sincerely hope to hear them in the US again. It is sad that he does not take part in the 4th of July shows and the holiday and Christmas shows. I couldn't believe Jordan Smith on the Voice the other night. He sang a lovely version of O Holy Night, but I am sure Adam would be breathtaking. I wish he would be included in something like that. They also said that Jordan had sold 7 million songs (I am assuming singles and not albums, but they were not specific). I found that amazing as he hasn't had what I would call any big hits althoughI did buy his album. It was underwhelming, which surprised me. I listened to it once and out it went
I think Adam needs someone like Tony Bennett. He seems to have put the umph back into Lady Gaga's career. As a result of their duets CD and various performances, it seems there has been a resurgence for Gaga. There is a Tony Bennett holiday special this year and something like that would be wonderful. These shows are little more mainstream and maybe Adam is not on board with that, but I don't know. Awards shows are great also, but there is something to be said for some of these seasonal shows that tons of people watch. I realize how successful Adam is and I find his career path amazing. He gets to do so many awesome and unusual things, but I too, would like to see him on my TV in the US and have more people find him as amazing as I know him to be.

Thank you for this wonderful post FINALLY someone gets what I am saying. Lurleene, Yes! You said it exactly right. This is pretty much what I was getting at yesterday when I whined a bit about Adam not being visible enough in the US. I am thrilled that he has such loyal international fans, and I was relieved to see that chart of how he's done on YouTube, Spotify, etc. Those numbers are far higher than I realized, TBH. But as you said so well, the more radio play in the US, the better the likelihood that he sells more, gets more recognition for awards, etc., which results in more TV exposure which should result in more people at his concerts. And singers make BIG money at BIG concert venues. His sales are decent, to be sure. But mainstream radio play gets you to the big time. Some unknown singers get a hit song right out of the gate and ZOOM! They're all over the place! TV, awards shows, huge concerts, etc. Adam's doing very well, but he still needs that one big "breakthrough" event (song, album, acting gig, whatever) to make everyone besides us sit up and take notice. His old "stigmas" (Idol, being gay, the AMAs, etc.) are pretty much history. It's much cooler to like him now. He has the Queen cred, too. As good as things are going, I still say that US radio play is a huge factor. AND, I'm so excited about Shosh's tease about what might be coming up in the near future! Following Adam is a fantastic ride, bumpy and swervy and fast!
