LOL graciejane...that does rather take the fun out of it, doesn't it...and you were so bright with it...haha Now totally unrelated...we have been fantasizing and imagining all the projects Adam could have up his sleeve and in his future and we have often thought of acting and films. I stumbled across this film on gay hollywood and the need to hide homosexuality. I don't know why it popped up...just showed up after lazily following a facebook post.... .
Anyways...I thought it might interest those of you who may not have seen it....and it makes me wonder what the possibilities might be for one such as Adam....thoroughly and long time out....yet also with a proven sexual attractiveness to both male and female...someone has to be the 'first'....interesting to think about. This is the film...
I wish Adam could play a bi role, where he would have a female interaction and a male one. He totally can make a woman swoon, both the one in the scene itself, as well as those that are watching (as we have just witnessed in a duet, instead of an acting scene). But by playing a bi character, it would allow this crazy but necessary discussion on whether the 'gay' man can play a straight role and hopefully reduce this ridiculous prejudice even further, because he could demonstrate that he can do both. And I hope many gay actors would get such roles, because we could put that nonsense to bed eventually. I am not saying that every straight man can play a gay character or should or that every gay actor can play it straight, it always depends on the persons involved, as well as the part of course, but just like two straight male and female actors do not automatically make for a good pairing for a film, just because they are both straight, and just like chemistry remains a difficult thing to define or predict, so is the world of acting across orientation lines significantly more diverse than the stereotype that either the studios in Hollywood or the public watching the films seem to have. Some gay men can play leading men in a straight role, i.e. Rock Hudson, and more people need to come around to the I-don't-care attitude. I realize that many are not there yet, but I think the younger generation is, and therefore the time may not be too far off, where this will happen. Once this present 'turn-back-the-clock'-movement has run its course, I suppose, but I think this is the last hurrah of an old way that is quickly running out of time, and I think our generation will still see that turn around happen again. A bi character role would be best to help demystify the topic and allow for discussion. The same could be done in more serious pieces by showing a gay man, i.e. in a historic setting, who is by convention driven into a marriage of convenience, and has to now navigate the dual life between his married life and a gay love affair, and how pressures of family, society, church, etc make it difficult to navigate that terrain of differing demands. Clearly, the film above that mszue posted, shows that it does not even have to be a historic setting, Hollywood of today seems to be still there, but the historic perspective or setting may provide some needed distance to anchor a script, imo.

I think televion is the answer for gay actors.. Empire being quite the show and with a gay leading part played by a gay man.., Glee a gay character played by a gay man
Both shows produced/directed by gay men..There are other TV shows with Gay actors that seem to be accepted..
IMHO, Television seems to be leading the way.. Hollywood not so much...which is a real shame .. since so many in that industry are homosexuals...so hypocritical and heartbreaking. Hollywood could actually help break down barriers if they ever stopped worrying about making tons of money..
African Americans went through the same prejudice and still do to a lesser degree.. woman actresses are getting lost in the shuffle...
Who the heck does Hollywood want ??

Just saw Kiss on The Voice, singing with a constant (I don't know this name), and found that performance pale as compared to Adam's, so I looked up it up again. Gosh, no one can top this performance www.youtube.com/watch?v=NF8gCAvS6DYQuote from MTV.com Say what you will about Adam Lambert, but you cannot deny the fact that the guy knows how to put on a show. Regardless of whether or not he's crowned "American Idol" champ, he already stole the show with a jaw-dropping, fist-pumping, pyro-enhanced performance with legendary rockers Kiss. Lambert started things off solo, wearing a studded, sorta-angelic ensemble (leather epaulet, withwings and all), performing a somber, falsetto'ed version of "Beth." Then as the pyro hit, Kiss themselves descended from the heavens and launched into a big-time take on another staple (from the same year, 1976) Lambert strutted and belted it out, drawing "Wow ... Did he just hit that note?" looks from guitarist Paul Stanley — and wearing a pair of platform boots that made him right at home with the glammed-up dudes in Kiss. Then, with more pyro flaring, it was into "Rock and Roll All Nite," with bassist Gene Simmons and Lambert trading verses (then, in an inspired split-screen, Simmons, Lambert and Stanley all sang in unison). After even more pyro, a smashed guitar and one seriously long note from Lambert, it was all over ... Minus Simmons spitting up blood, it was everything you'd get from a Kiss show, mashed into roughly four minutes. A very fiery (and pretty amazing) coronation for the man who could be "Idol" king. www.mtv.com/news/1611891/adam-lambert-gets-glammed-up-with-kiss/

Sundance lost his older bother when he was a young kid and his brother was his best friend. He said he remembered his brother taking him to a KISS concert and he rode on his shoulder to watch the show. This was his request and it was special to him.
