Okay, I'm over myself now. Renewed my fanclub membership, booked a hotel in Nashville, signed onto LiveNation, American Express, and ticketmaster to make sure all my passwords work. Checked the balances on my credit card. Should be ready for the presale now. Eek! Great!! Now can you get me organized? I have one show right near me - 38 miles away. But have not even decided if I am going to do other shows. I need to figure it all out. I hope to do that tomorrow.

My Basenjis used to do this exact same thing -- perch on the top of the sofa. They like high places. I know Pharaoh is only part Basenji, but he has so many Basenji traits. Constantly amazes me.

After watching those videos...I am...surprisingly cautiously optimistic about a few things. I'm sure that will change as I try to factor in Brian's usual "enthusiasm" as someone said earlier...patti I think. I like that way to describe it BUT He did say something about new/different tracks to go with the new set. That WOULD be awesome. I don't need a ton...but if we got say 5 "new" tracks - that would be awesome....I mean don't get me wrong I'd love to see pull a Springsteen and do a completely different set every night but I understand that the Queen shows need cues and tech that makes that impossible...but a new feel would be nice. The other thing...is that I had resigned myself to no QAL studio album...but for whatever reason the interview tonight makes me think that the flame on that candle is not *QUITE* out. Obviously there are no plans...but it almost seems as if Brian is being beaten into submission. Enough people ask about it and after touring for 4 straight years (with the few dates in 2012 as well), I would think they may want to try to do something. They all seem more open to it...it was Adam's quote though that made me think something definitely was up - he seemed to say that he felt sure that something was going to happen at some point so we'll see. I also wonder what the "Secret Mission" is on Brian's instagram...it came after the press/interview thing...I wonder if it's Freddie movie related....

The A.V. Club @theavclub Queen and Adam Lambert are going on tour, again trib.al/XvX9Hhm In what should be fantastic news for fans of American Idol singer Adam Lambert and a kind of resigned shrug for fans of Queen, Rolling Stone reports that Lambert, Brian May, and drummer Roger Taylor are going back out on tour. The trio has been working together for the last eight years, when the vagaries of fate and reality singing competitions forced them into each other’s arms. Since then, they’ve performed a number of shows and tours as Queen + Adam Lambert, with Lambert attempting to fill the late Freddie Mercury’s kickass Adidas sneaks. Tickets for the 25-stop North American tour go on sale on February 3; members of either Lambert or Queen’s fan-clubs will have early access to sales. I think this is my fault. Yesterday I posted that we had not had one snarky rock snob articles about QAL. Oh well so much for that. I was curious who would be so clueless after 5 years of QAL to write this -- and just knew he was not a music reporter. He's not. And snark is his thing -- not special for Adam and Queen fans.
