I love Bruno. I don't think he is ripping off prince at all. He's very talented. His Prince Tribute was very good. And of course the Adam connection is Never Close Our Eyes. Which personally I think is one of Adams most underrated Pop Tracks. No he's not ripping off Prince. I think Bruno is a huge fan of Jim Brown. Who doesn't? Been gone all day and need to catch up now. So, here goes. Love Adam working with Nile and I love Nile's comments. Hope it results in a BIG song! Never liked NCOE or BTIKM much. They just didn't seem to fit Adam much. although I supported both songs with all my might. I hope his new bluesy, funky sound will result in a hit. Ghost Town was SO different and the vid was very original. Really resounded world-wide. He needs AT LEAST another couple of songs like that. along with videos. Overseas fan bases seem to have edgier musical taste than the US does. We are much more "safe" here, IMO. European and Asian, OZ, etc., seem more ready to embrace music that is out of the same old mold. I want whatever works for him!!!!!! Someday maybe he'll be able to do a video that is not sexually neutral, as far as Adam himself is concerned. I hope he can get very bold and creative with a video. Praying that A4 results in another solo tour. That's the best reward he can get. SUCCESS OF HIS OWN MUSIC.

Funky, I love the sound of that, like Bruno's music! Nile has such a distinct sound, you know it is him instantly. Brian is much the same way, very unique. This should be a great album. I enjoy Bruno too, his new album is really fun and he and his team do great videos this one is hot right now, so simple and yet perfect for the song.

Just for the record, I wasn't slamming Bruno, just responding to enchanted's enthusiasm for the possibility of Adam doing funk like Bruno. I think Bruno is okay, I just think Adam has tried that route already and I expect he'll do something different for the most part. Though Shady is one of my favorites!
ETA Yeah, maybe Bruno isn't necessarily ripping off Prince, but James Brown, haha! Bruno is quite a showman, I'll give him that.

Instead they got two of his worst songs, NCOE and BTIKM. Really agree with this article about Billboard article about BTIKM being a red herring possibly causing people to miss out on what a great album it was. www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/6458124/adam-lambert-trespassing-is-greatHave no idea what the tracks with Nile will be like but I do know I liked Shady and Lay Me Down.

Pattihum has been going down memory lane on Twitter with some of her fav songs/concerts she has attended. Of course, I followed her down the rabbithole. Wish I could have experienced all these in person. At least I was there at IHeart Vegas for WWTLF.

Welcome Jogrins and Pineapple, as well as other new Adamtopians! And, hello to all the fellow old-timers who've been here 'since the beginning' . . .
Here is an Adam history story for you! We have so many, but this one truly stands out for me.
I flew, for the first time, to Montreal. Alone, on my birthday. My flight was delayed for several hours, so when I arrived in Montreal, the 'Topians I hoped to meet there we gone. I rented a car and drove for about 30 minutes, looking for my hotel - only to realize that this hotel was actually connected to the airport! The friends I had missed returned to the hotel very late, but we were able to meet in the bar, and I learned that they had obtained for me a very coveted 'first 300' ticket to 'St. Agathe en Feux' - the festival where Adam would be performing the following day. I drove my little rental car for about two hours the following morning, to the lakeland site for the performance. Checked into this quaint little motel/inn, and met others who were planning on attending the performance. One of them was Q3, who, as I recall, was able to fly in at the last moment! She needed a place to stay - and my lodgings were more than adequate (I think I had the 'honeymoon suite' - heart shaped bathtub!). We fell into line in front of the venue during the afternoon. We could hear the soundcheck; through the dappled sunlight Adam's voice just sparkled . . . and then we heard something new. What was it? What was this beautiful melody? It was over quickly . . . was it new music? When the gates opened, the thundering herd bolted across the park lawn towards the stage. Once we staked out our places, it was time to meet others, explore the setting, and pray that the clouds overhead would part and the evening would be perfect. Sauli appeared in front and scooted through the crowd to the covered projection/media area - - - we were thrilled! The concert is history. Adam performed 'Outlaws of Love' for the first time. Those of us who were lucky to witness this will never forget it. Never forget the experience of the entire night. Adam's performance broke my heart with it's sadness; and put it back together with its sincerity. The heavens opened afterwards, and rain poured down; and Adam stood on the stage, sang 'Purple Haze' and kissed the sky as it fell. The little motel/inn where we stayed was full of Adamtopians, and we made sure the staff knew we were there! After the show, we drowned rats converged in the bar and toasted Adam, 'Outlaws of Love', and our amazing night, until the bar closed. Then, we 'Topians bought the last bottles of wine and retreated to the 'honeymoon suite', where the party lasted until the sun came up.
Certain details of this trip may have faded over the past 6 years, but I tell you this story, Jogrins and Pineapple, because I want to share with you how these wonderful connections, and lasting memories, can and will be made and shared through Adam and Adamtopia.
I come here every day - - - for much more than Adam news. I hope, as time goes by, you will find yourselves doing the same.

Bruno is not the only one who's copying James Brown's dance movement and I see nothing wrong with that. He's such a legend so many artists becoming huge fans of James Brown, they just admire him, period. Look at the way James Brown dance in this video and I think Adam did similar dance movement on "Play That Funky Music". www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgukXPbGS1IHe couldn't help it, PTFM is so funky. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTv_g2SebWY
