I swear Adam reads that we have not seen Pharaoh for a while and here is the pic. And a gorgeous one at that! Thank you! Not liking what I read about idol, though. I guess, it is harder than it looks to get such a relaunch going. And while we, yes I did too, celebrated the huge contract for KP, I did have the nagging feeling that this could backfire. I guess it did quicker than anyone could have imagined. Seems somehow amateurish in hind-sight, doesn't it. Ryan has two reasons to say no, the money and the show location. It is not looking so great. Now I am not quite so pessimistic as this author that a different host is not possible, I think it could be done. But that the overall management team is so thinned out that nobody except this CEO is left, that scares me more, tbh. CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz is a familiar name to me since at least 2010, and I just cannot remember her name ever associated with any good decisions, just dumb ones. I am obviously relying on what was in the media, but in the end she was not able to revive the show over at FOX either. She may be a fan of the show and wants to see it live on, but I don't think she has a TV background, music background, or even the producer background to know what she is doing. She seems more a finance, corporate type person and ABC better put some serious talent in there, if they want to find a winning concept in this rather mature singing show market. Not happy to hear that ABC does not seem to have a team up and running to get this show going. Spring of 2018 is an aggressive timeline, I would have assumed they'd have their ducks in the row by now, and this article clearly indicates otherwise. Glad Adam has QAL and his own career and does not have to sweat it, whether this comes together on not.

This is just my little fantasy. I know it is not in the realm of possibility. and Adam has said "no" to it in an interview. But, I think he would actually be very good as the host of AI. He is gorgeous. He is a fashion statement. People would tune in every week just to see what he would be wearing. He is charming, witty, kind, encouraging, and can be snarky when appropriate. His personality could really shine in the role. And we would get some great screen time wathcing him every week.
The article makes it seem that the re-imagining of AI is a train wreck, and in reality, Adam should probably steer clear of it. But, in my head, I like the idea of Adam Lambert, Idol alum and amazing host.

Considering the amount of cred, money, exposure, and oppurtunities it well bring. .How do you think Artists get creative freedom.

I thought Adam seemed surprised by that part of the question -- like he had not really thought of the possibility.

I just cannot see Idol moving forward without Ryan as a host. But if they cannot get him as he is doing the Kelly and Ryan thing. Also can't afford him. I wonder if idol would seriousley consider Adam as a host? Obviousley he would be perfect for it. But if he is not a judge. That is the next best thing.

Uh oh. Spent too much on Katy. Ryan's in doubt First of all, the info in this article does not come from an "Idol insider" -- it is from Richard Rushfield who is an internet author without a real home. He started out as a low-level democratic party operative, then was a futurist, was once a LA Times.com senior editor, was a Buzzfeed for a while, etc. Most of what he writes is already known, except for the rumor-snark about how Ryan feels. **** Regarding Ryan and geography - Ryan is now in NY for his ABC show. I think if ABC thinks he's essential, they'll find the money and extras to make him happy. And there is no reason Idol can't be in NY. As far as the reports about Katy Perry boasting and making Ryan mad, etc. I don't buy it. There is no chance that Ryan didn't know what Adam Levine and Blake Shelton get paid for The Voice ($26 million a year, $13 million per season). And JLo was paid more than Ryan on Idol. MJ, the women who wrote the article knows a lot about Idol and has followed it for years. But she has not inside info on what in going on. Just commenting on Richard's post. ETA: FreemantleMedia is running the show and they are one of the biggest TV producers in the world -- including doing America's Got Talent. So that part is real nonsense.

They may have spent too much on Katy though. OR rushed back into bringing back idol. I think Adam would make a great host. Judge is probably unlikely. Just a vibe I am getting from Adam. You never know he might be judge. But it is unlikely.

...of course Adam would make an awsome judge...duh!
I had to laugh a little too because like yesterday or two days ago someone mentioned that they missed Pharaoh and now we get a picture...although for Adams owns sanity I sincerely hope he doesn't not read this forum^^ I just felt a little bad for Terrance having to go on a hike alone as it seems... btw...didn't Terrance before post a hiking vid with one of Adams songs? Wasn't it also 'Chokehold'? Or at least something moode like it...'Underground' for example...
