^ You know what I haven't mentioned that yet...It's Late is one of my fav all time Queen songs. In my ever rotating Top 5 and often interchanged with White Queen...And I will say that Adam sings it better than I thought he would. Given my well known position on Adam and hard rock songs, he does do this one quite well...and that's fine praise because it is a difficult track to pull off

Let me sa y to everyone - that any discussion I have brought was never intended to bring Adam down, nor was it meant to dampen any elation about QAL.
BUT I just wanted to say, I don't want to bring people down. But I also am someone who doesn't allow a loud voice or two to shout down my very valid and honest opinion on things. Peace and love. Talon I hope you didn't feel I was singling you out with the highlighted part above. I ALWAYS appreciate the Queen information you bring us here and I respect and admire your love of Queen. I understand it. I look at Queen and QAL as two different things altogether...I appreciate each in a different way...but both make me happy and I love the music...and I feel the magic of them both. I love celebrating Adam and Freddie and I don't need to compare them..just enjoy them. And I feel that is probably what Adam would want us to do...Enjoy and Celebrate the Music! And I was definitely celebrating last night's concert....just like I still celebrate the 'moment in time' of the Live Aid Concert (Freddie and Queen captivating the whole world) when I watch the video. Love and Hugs Talon!

I cannot top Momtomany's review, she is such a great writer! But she wrote the truth!
I was at Phoenix, HB1 and HB2 and I can attest that HB2 was the VERY BEST EVER - and it's the show I was halfway back in a terrace box, whereas I was in row 1 in Phoenix and row 2 in HB1. Phoenix was my 2nd favorite and HB1 had some issues: partly that Adam didn't seem as playful, there seemed to be some sound issues, it was hot, and we had a very strict security who would not let us move from directly in front of our folding chair - though I kept getting pushed out of the row, he kept coming over pushing us in. He also made people around us put out their joints, and they were not happy about it. We were on the far right of 2nd row for HB1 and I have to let you know that Adam seems to favor that left side - we got mostly Brian. Adam only came over to our side a couple times (once on the bicycle).
In Phoenix, I was on that left side (as you look at the stage) in front and it was way more awesome in terms of view. But HB2 could not be beat, the sound was the best, the setting was gorgeous, and Adam and the band were in top form. I agree with Q3 that not many people were standing back in the boxes. But that doesn't mean they weren't enjoying it, I saw many rocking out in their seats, head banging and clapping wildly.
Fighting the crowds on the way out of HB2, a very dapper tall, white haired gentlemen (probably around the age of Brian and Roger) randomly stopped me to say "That was awesome, wasn't it? That Glambert really knocked it outta the park" - lolol all I could do was agree wholeheartedly.
I love It's Late and Spread Your Wings (had never even listened to the songs before hearing them in Phoenix) - so hard to believe they were written so long ago, and are such wonderful songs that have stood the test of time. Adam did an amazing job, and they all seem so happy and playful this tour so far, I'm so happy I'm going to San Jose and Seattle also - I'm "on tour" this week too ha!

I am heading home tonight so at LAX with just phone access. Sorry for the typos and phone word "corrections." In any case, they just played AOBTD in my terminal - the original recorded version and I thought it was a cover because it sounded wrong. I have gotten so used to the Adam version.
