I don't understand how the adding new rows works. Since these "new" rows don't show up on the ticket buying map, how do these folks get them and what seat and row does their ticket say? Maybe they extend say Row 20 on the sides of the thrust to wrap around the end of the thrust...where it didn't exist on the seating chart...but how do folks find/buy them. If I were front row at the stage and they added another front row (how can you have two Row 1s) or another single seat all along the thrust...I wouldn't be nearly as nice as Kryptoman. I'm afraid I might throw a hissy fit....lol. I know they can do it...in the fine print. I suppose this is only done on completely sold out shows...trying to pack every last person in....but are these new seats and rows bought last minute or way ahead of time. If they're sold/bought at the door last minute and for a cheap price....I'd be even madder. I remember Q3 mentioning that they added another row in front of her....I think at MSG in 2014...not sure. It may have happened to others. I still remember many years ago at the Coral Sky Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach being THRILLED to secure front row tickets, only for security to allow a ton of people from the rows further back to stand in front of the stage in front of us. The crush was so bad we ended up moving back away from our reserved seats. The same thing happened to me once at a venue in the UK. Like kryptoman was saying, there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to how security behaves - what they'll allow and what they won't. It really is heartbreaking when you have the thrill of front row and then you end up with 3 or 4 rows of people standing in front of you, squashed like sardines in a can.

A row vanished, > Sometimes the venue maps are not accurate and do not include a row(s) of VIP/artists' tickets. > Sometimes they do add a row for VIP/friends that never is for general sale. I have never had a row put in front of me but I have bought a ticket I thought was on the catwalk or center and arrived to learn the row numbering is not what I expected. Happened to me on this tour in Las Vegas. But since the stage and catwalk is high on this tour, that seat was fine.

Well, I just remembered something about your seats at MSG...lol.....glad it was a positive. The numbering of seats is sometimes a gamble....some number thrust outward, some left to right...the rows at the end of the thrust vary, etc. I hate buying seats early on before the first concert to see who is where on stage, etc. Had I known then what I know now....I would have bought all my seats on Spike's side where Adam is for most of the concert. I thought I'd be balanced and have seats on both sides. But like Q3 said....the height of the stage and catwalk works well unless you aren't on the aisle and have a tall person in front of you....then you just have to weave back and forth and try and find a view opening. I really shouldn't complain because my seats thus far have been pretty darn awesome.
