There is just something about being in the back of the arena that makes you recognize the depth and breadth of Adam 's voice, I think. Don't know anything about acoustics, but back there you can really feel how his voice fills the whole place, pretty awe inspiring. pi wrote Yeh, just like that, pi!

I don't think most people are very engaged on social media. Some of the people disappeared years ago but still show up as followers. My musician friends say the best ways to support are buy the songs, come to concerts and buy merch, and stream. It's supposed to be fun.

Just my opinion, but if an artist has 2.6 million followers on twitter and 1 million on IG and more on FB (and Adam has been deemed one of those artists that is not over run with Bots) then 100K views a day should be easy. And YT counts all views from all countries! Why it doesn't happen is beyond me?! But haven't we already discussed here that the number of twitter followers means next to nothing? I mean look at all the followers Katy Perry has... Love the song and wish it was smashing, but I have said that about a lot of Adam songs. It is just really hard to get a hit without broad exposure and a big label push I am not talking about a "smash." IMO, an artist still needs radio for that. i am just talking about loyal fans viewing a video! Geez, if 50K did it once a day, that'd be great! And I am sure Adam has at least 50K fans WW!

Exactly right about TwoFux. Adam and his label have to be committed to getting this song heard by a mass audience. Radio play is key. Right now, it's an underground song. It's getting streamed by the fanbase and some non-US fanbases, too. This song SHOULD be a major social anthem. If it was recorded by someone else with a huge fanbase, it could be high on the charts already. This is our perpetual issue with promoting Adam's music. It must be very frustrating for Adam. The music-listening world at large is just not enough aware of him. I hope it eventually gets played on radio. A casual listener WILL hear it and will love it, too. In the meantime, we have to stream and view and listen all we can.
Loving the tweets from people who attended a QAL show and are discovering Adam for the first time. They are blown away. They are new Adam fans. Interesting that one person "discovered" them on James Corden. Every appearance has an impact. I'm going to the show on Thursday!!!!!!!

As a fan you support your artist when you can. Streaming, viewing, sharing and buying is a way to do that. And you do apparently. You do stream and buy so the comment wasn't meant to you. Yes the fan base alone isn't enough to make it a hit, but we (total fandom, not individuals here) can do more in my opinion. But I think it is on Adam and the label. For a song to be a hit, it has to engage the "casual fans." That's the difference. I bought Two Fux because I like it and to support Adam. But I didn't buy "Think." I just didn't have any interest. I guess I just don't view being a fan as a job. I already have a job, lol. I'm sorry but I disagree about that it's only to the label to make sure it will get a hit. Adam has given hints enough now that he wants us to view and stream. Yes he said in his IG story that we shouldn't care about that, but I think that has changed some already. As views and streams are apparently lower than the label and him have hoped. To attract casual fans the song has to get into playlists and charts. To get into those playlists the song has to have some initial amount of streams and viral indication. If fans already don't view and stream a song the label thinks the song has no hit potential and they will stop promoting as the song apparently doesn't land well with the fans. Adam has also said the music is for us fans to enjoy. Let's show him we enjoy the song! ETA: the YT is at a freeze period at the moment as it's close to 300k. YT is reviewing streams at the moment. It will jump later over 300k and go faster then for a little period (hopefully).

Instead of the fanbase needing to do more, I put the responsibility on the label. It is the label that needs to do more. Maybe not with this particular song, but just more action in general.
Still believe the label missed the boat by not getting Adam involved in some high-profile collaboration. IMO that is the best way to get exposure for a new artist; whether it is Stan Smith or Alessia Cara. But I guess that ship has sailed---should have been done years ago.

Adam has a song with Steve Aoki and Felix Jaehn last year. Those are big names! Yet that he did on his own and not with (full) support of his own label. Other songs by these artists have been big hits! Yet somehow Can't Go Home didn't seem to get bigger. Also Tritonal is doing pretty good with some artists, just not with Adam. Again Broken was not supported by Adam's label for some reason.
