I really wondered why they would consider doing a Casino. I always feel the audience doesn't have the usual energy with all the high roller comps and it's a small venue compared to what QAL have been doing. My understanding is that casinos pay really well. The casino uses the concerts to get people in the door and many people drop more money on gambling, food, and drinks. So they can afford to pay a bit more to the artists. I really don't think Mohegan Sun is the usual "casino crowd." They are a full arena and have big name acts all the time. It is, IMO, an arena that just happens to be at a casino. Calling it a "casino show" would be like calling the MGM Grand Arena a casino show, or T-Mobile Arena a casino show. When I went to the 2014 show, it was one of the very best crowds and best shows of the entire tour. The "problem" I see, if there is one, is that we Glamberts watch so many videos and go to sooooooo many shows, we tend to compare them to each other. To the people seeing QAL for the first and only time, "It was the best concert ever!"

Here you go! This belongs here. i took it from tomorrow's thread! A nice review of the Mohegan Sun concert from Queen Online Message Board:
My son and I had been to the QAL show in 2014 and he went again with me last night to Mohegan. The second time around was even better. This was a glorious show. The special effects and the lights and lasers were mind blowing. I have seen Maiden, Priest, Ozzie and other groups and they pale compared to this show!! My son even agreed with me. He did not go in as a fan in 2014 (of Adam) and he thinks now that he does an amazing job. Queen has it down to a T, it is as close to perfect as a show can possibly be, but that does not make it Broadway, as many of you always say. This show is a rock show! There is nothing wrong with presenting a show that runs smoothly with amazing singers and an amazing vocalist. People were in awe of Brian and his solo and selfie stick, which is so much fun in the context of the show. People did not depart for the bathrooms!! Nor did they leave during the drum solo. We as an audience are lucky to have such rock icons still playing in a show like this! Folks in this audience were thrilled to see the skills of Brian and Roger and it was a privilege to see them. Who knows how much longer they can do this?
The songs were great and I don't think the two dropped songs were missed, as most folks didn't even know about them. I would have loved to hear them, but they played for about 2 hrs and 15 minutes or so and I got more than my money's worth. The rock into was great. Adam is much better at SCC and the other intro songs. He can now sing deeper and it makes it more credible. KQ was a delight, as was the Bicycle. I know many of you detest it, but it just works and folks love it. You could tell by the whisperings and the huge applause. It is just a fun interlude with a nice campy feel. My son had not heard TF, but felt it was very much like Queen's music and that it had a place in the set list (that surprised me!). A lot of the audience knew the words and the applause for it was huge.
I am not sure that some of them knew it was Adam's song, although I feel like over 50% of the sell out crowd was there for Adam and I talked to many, many people. My fav is WWTLF and the lighting with the huge disco ball spinning out "stars" and that voice, was just amazing. The applause for that song is thunderous. I love Adam's and Brian's matchy outfits of which there were several. My fav was Adam's silver outfit and Brian's silver clothing with the silver bat cape. I also loved the matching black outfits.
There is just so much to love about this show. Everything has been thought out and they perform 100%, there is not this idea of, tonight we will let it slide a little. That is not in Queen's vocabulary. They give their all every night. Videos don't do the show justice. There is not a jarring, doesn't flow moment in the show. This is a show that you can't critique by watching a video and I know, most of you don't get it. But as my son said, it is like reading about a drink and thinking you know how it tastes, but you have never taken a real sip! It just doesn't work. You guys are missing out!!! Everyone around me and the many folks I talked to into today, all agreed. I didn't hear one negative comment!! In this world that is pretty unusual nowadays! I want to do it all over!!!

Philadelphia has suddenly gotten some really good floor seats opening up. If I didn't already have pretty good seats for that concert, I would buy them: Section 2, row 3 seats right in front of the end of the neck of the guitar are now available for $175 a ticket (regular ticket price). www.wellsfargocenterphilly.com/news/detail/queen-adam-lambert-set-to-perform-live-at-wells-fargo-center-on-july-30They weren't any regular floor seats available yesterday, so they may have been changed from VIP to regular. It's also showing that there are no VIP tickets available today. [img style="max-width:100%;" src=" Yeah DC has a ton of awesome seats that have just come available as well. A few days ago there were 8 seats right in front of thrust-for $175 they are all gone today though. Also entire rows on sides but best seats in place have come available. Where did all these seats come from?

Where did all these seats come from? No idea because they weren't there yesterday. It's been showing "No Floor Seat Available" for several days. I have 2 floor seats that I got in the pre-sale but they're further back. That's okay though because they're aisle seats and I got them for $125 each.
