Nobody even remotely curious? I'll make a wild guess...VR performance 'album' instead of traditional album with tradional music videos. What is VR performance? (Album) ...like ...all songs on the album released with videos similar to Two Fux /// lyric videos....versus just singing? Jumping in with another guess...if the two are not related...he is setting up for the George Michael tribute and the production guy thought he was like " ordinary joe" singer who would love the enhancements. But this boy needs no enhancements. I really appreciated those two videos showing how difficult Queen sings are to sing. Blew me away when you really see the constrast. Bri and Roger are as lucky as Adam ...such a wonderful partnership on stage. VR is "Virtual Reality" as in viewing a 3D video with special over the eyes headgear to see the 3D image. QAL released a VR video of one song, I think from the 2016 RIR Lisboa concert. Someone posted links back then. But I don't think these tweets have anything to do with VR. The George Michael tribute is a very good guess! The other possibility is that this referred to the 2017 QAL tour production. From the tweets, it sounded like is was about QAL. They had a production crew that made all of the video sequences and all of the lighting sequences and it was computerized this time rather than being done manually as in the 2014 tour. They had to have been given audio tapes of past performances (or recordings made just for the production team) to use in the creation of the video and/or lighting sequences. For instance, the beautiful lighting sequence for WWTLF was likely created by syncing to a previous recording of Adam singing WWTLF. The production crew may have left the audio and lighting electronically synced in the computer (or however they do it) thinking Adam would sing over the recorded audio. Then when they got to the production rehearsal Adam said no decouple the audio recording from the lighting sequence and I will sing totally live. This would have made it harder to get the electronically/computer controlled lighting synced to Adam's singing during the tour, so they probably timed the lighting sequence to start exactly at the end of the "You Take My Breath Away" recording with Adam and the band knowing exactly how to sync starting to sing and play with the end of UTMBA. Just a guess on my part!

Hey Everyone, I want to send some videos to some life-long guitar players who like Brian but have never heard of Adam. Any suggestions on the best versions of BR, IWIA, and the guitar solo (preferably one with the robot hand)? Although I want to showcase Brian, I want to show off Adam also. I plan to send It's Late from Seattle. Thanks I'm not a good best of person but if you want recent, the Dallas show was really dynamic. This link has lots of videos...http://adamlambertmtt.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=1605 Thanks, graciejane. I was at that show and that one was definitely one of the better ones of the six I attended. I can't tell what is good guitar-wise (other than obvious bum notes) but I will check them out. I was saddened to see several people on Queenzone say that Brian doesn't play well any more. :(

It's not the group; there are a few just really bitter, bitter people and I'm not really sure what their issue is.

I think your guess is a darn good one!😁 And I think ---better than my guess. I never really gave any thought to the pre- production concept of synching with Adam previously singing the song. I appreciate bringing that to my conscious level. Honestly I feel like such a dummy. It is one of those things that by you putting it into words it connects more dots...and also demonstrates the magnitude of the work, and the time it takes to fully create a "show". And..thx for the VR explanation...getting me into the new technology language. (I was guessing video recording ...haha ...old school thinking)

But TBH, I don't think he's had the time to make that many videos. I thought those quotes about singing live were from a QAL venue? ETA: stampsgal, good thinking about the George Michaels rehearsals! I thought about GM tribute but there would not be GM song recordings with Adam vocals that could be used even if they wanted too. They don't exist. It would have to AL songs or Queen. The other possibility is the tweet was poorly worded...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i think a VR live performance album would be killer.

Maybe, maybe not. All depends on how effectively information is passed down to the bottom of the totem pole, i.e., from management to lower level crew. The song in question could also be Adam's Two Fux. A tour video was produced by somebody for that song. Videos with sound always have a separate video image track and audio tracks - that's how they are packaged. The tour version is also likely to have a separate vocal and instrumental tracks as well, probably from the studio recording. The crew may have thought that the instrumental track(s) would be muted as it would be played entirely by the band since it would be diffetent than what is on the video. But they may have thought that Adam would sing over the vocals and Adam said no.

Still seems odd to me though that Adam would need to tell the production crew that he planned to sing live - they know he does. I guess this conversation could have happened when TF was first introduced into the setlist and as they were planning the production for rehearsal. An intriguing little puzzle when coupled with the interview with the VR company.
