AVerage for however many shows they did - but doesn't say how many shows. If QAL had played just three shows with 60,000 at each, they would have been much higher up the list - but they wouldn't have grossed as much for the 'tour' or played to as many people as they did. ...... However, U2 definitely have a better hourly rate....

I suppose it's 2017 year to date? We discussed this before when QAL appeared in this list. And yes, U2 are in a league of their own.

Entertainment Weekly ✔ @ew 14 famous songs you didn't know are covers share.ew.com/IMEeRxf13. “Mad World” by Michael Andrews and Gary Jules for “Donnie Darko” soundtrack (Originally by Tears for Fears) Before it was a haunting ballad on the Donnie Darko (2001) soundtrack, “Mad World” was a synth-heavy dance song released by Tears for Fears in 1982. (Honorable mention: We’re still not over Adam Lambert’s iconic cover of the track on American Idol, arguably one of the show’s greatest performances ever.) With a link to the video from last year: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kAWesgI5LYStill wondering why the removed the performance of WTTS. Probably to get more views for the lyric video. Which failed pretty big as people just re-uploaded the Idol performance and went viewing that one. I think that's part of the problem why Adam's video's are so slow moving. There are so many fan uploads everywhere that views get scattered and the official video doesn't get the attention it should have.

Appears the Burning Man pink flamingo is 40 feet tall and you can go inside to get out of the sun.

I think the first paragraph explains it pretty well, no? "By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS AUGUST 30, 2017 The Top 20 Global Concert Tours ranks artists by average box office gross per city and includes the average ticket price for shows Worldwide. The list is based on data provided to the trade publication Pollstar by concert promoters and venue managers." Is there really only 1 woman on that list?

Update from southeast Texas. Now my area is under water and people are having to be rescued. My Mom and my Stepmom both have water in their houses. My Stepmother was rescued by a Parks and Wildlife airboat this morning. My Mom and Stepdad are sitting in water at their house waiting to be rescued. I'm dry where I'm at, but can't get to them due to the high water. The freeways look like oceans, I have never seen anything like this before. My area has gotten 45 inches of rain so far and it is still raining! I wish there was something we could do for you Pam. Call me if you think of anything. We are so far from each other. I know there is no way for you to get to Florida but we would love to have you if you need shelter. I feel so bad and helpless for everyone there. Keep us all posted and good luck to you and your family.

The other two are: 3. “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash (Originally by Anita Carter) 6. “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone (Originally in the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd)
