I know my heart sank when I saw that name. I can't find anything specific right now, but I seem to remember this name was somehow connected with the direction RCA wanted for Adam. Yep. My heart sank as well. Then I remembered they said they wanted to get him a #1 album. They did that but for some strange reason did not throw much support behind it. Does anyone remember that one of them said that Adam saw HIMSELF as pop/dance? But the way they said it made me believe they did not seem to feel the same way about him? Could have been a reason for the non-support to teach him a lesson that they knew best. But it backfired. So maybe his new glamrock/alt leaning direction will be more pleasing to them. Yes, I am trying to find a positive to keep from freaking out. Also RCA merged with Jive and brought over Timberlake, Brittney, Pink, Chris Brown and wanted to concentrate on them. I do remember that Kelly Clarkson released a single just before Adam and got crazy adds. Then Adam released and they trickled in with small numbers. It was too much. I didn't really care if he could not deliver but it hurt that he was not given a fair chance. But Adam took the high road and left without throwing stones. So hopefully there will be no ax to grind. Also, he was not the frontman for Queen until after he left RCA so maybe he will have a better status and appreciation from Corson. I am walking myself away from the damn ledge, lol. And TBH, Warner did not support him in the manner I had hoped or the way Barry Weiss did when he headed RCA. Hope things get better for him no matter who is at the top.

Meanwhile, there is this little joke in the news: www.yahoo.com/entertainment/luke-bryan-play-great-hillbilly-184600084.htmlThe third seat is still open, and TV auditions are set to start next week. Yup. Next week. Did we ever in the past think that Fox mis-managed the franchise? In case I said that, I am taking all that back, in view of the present executive brilliance that seems to be unfolding before our eyes. Have we got a betting pool for whether this will be cancelled before it ever airs?

I wonder if Adam had knowledge that there could be a shake up coming? Could be one of the reasons he said he would release new music when the time is right. Taking a wait and see attitude, not wanting to release another album that might not be supported by the label. This could also have something to with him putting his house on the market? Not that he can't afford to stay there but more about being ready to relocate if he thought it was necessary.

It's a little unnerving with all the speculation as to what's next, with him removing the headers from his social media accounts and no sign of the album yet and the house up for sale. I choose to look at the positive and get ready for QAL. The music will come because he said as much. He's always kept us waiting so I will carry on and not worry so much!
Haha , at least I'm gonna try!

The label "news"/rumors really made me perk up, but I am not nervous at this point even though I can sense some shifting. I think it really helps to realize that Adam has built a pretty impressive resume since he started with RCA many years ago. Referring to past label drama and may be future "negotiations"/productions, I dare to say that I personally wouldn't condemn the label if they felt more of a glam rock/pop rock vibe for Adam and thus based their negotiations with him on that. It all depends how fairly business is conducted though.

Adam's part: "During a Wednesday conference call with the media, the 30-year-old from Inglewood, Calif., talked about her career as a background singer, which has included stints with Adam Lambert, Jill Scott, JoJo and, for about four years, with Nicki Minaj.
Keisha calls working with Adam Lambert “one of my favorite times of my touring career. I love Adam Lambert so much. He’s such a sweet person.”
I’m very grateful to him (Adam),” she says. “He gave me a chance. This industry is very image-driven. I’ve been trying to be a solo artist for a long time, but I didn’t look the part.
“And he didn’t care about that. He’s like, ‘I want you to sing background for me. You have a voice and I want to showcase that.'”
While touring with Adam, he’d also relinquish the spotlight and give her “little solos here and there.”
“That is so selfless and so humble of him,” Keisha said, adding that she considers Adam “a lifelong friend” and noted that he also once took a chance on a singing show — back on Season 8 of American Idol."
