Hello all my dear friends at Adamtopia, In spite of the crisis here, I have somehow found solace in the wee hours - waking up at 3AM and logging in to Q3's creation. Our Adam home. I am HERE. And I'm finding so many reasons to be glad. I have my life; some of my neighbors died trying to flee; others sought refuge in a swimming pool or a low spot, and remain hospitalized. Sonoma County is a force! My husband went to the VA to order eyeglasses . . . he returned to our hotel with bananas, peaches, strawberries, cereal, crackers, applesauce, chobani's, soup . . . and a whole lotta love. Firefighters from as far away as Australia are here. They hope to have our "Tubbs Fire" contained by next Tuesday. We cannot yet go to our property - our home. Even after 11 days. The grim task of discovery is still going on. This morning I took blocks of deer food to the Nat'l Guardsmen who are manning the road closure at the portal of what was the road that wended its way through oaks and vineyards to my place of peace. Tonight there is a community meeting at the same high school where our governor and two US Senators spoke a few days ago. Resources are everywhere. Today, I needed to apply for a new passport . . . without a birth certificate. I was led by a virtual hand of kindness through the process, and I'll have this little document with me in time to head to London to see Adam and Queen in December. Yes - I'm going! And the only reason why I might leave my precious husband at such a transitional time in our lives is because dear friends (they are actually the godparents of our two youngest children) have opened their home to us; and another friend is bringing his motorhome to their property for us to use until we can put a little camper of some sort on our land as we rebuild. I have a video for you to see. I hope the link will work. It is very powerful. Made by Ariana Elliott; and forwarded to me by Kate Gonnella, head of Emergency Services at Burning Man. The video is public; okay to share. www.facebook.com/ariana.elliott/videos/2005897352770577This is my home. This will always be my home. I'm in a never ending search for words. Simple words. Right words. Words that tell you all how much your concerns and your thoughts have helped me. I am a very lucky, and a very loved momtomany. Thank you. That video was just heart breaking! I am so sad for you that you've lost your home but glad to hear your OK and going to rebuild! Glad your still going to see Adam in December. If anybody can lift the spirit it's him!!!!!

Momtomany...love you! Your heart thinks of so many others and, also, the wildlife. What a beautiful thing to do...giving food to help sustain the wildlife who have always been apart of your home. You spread your love to so many. Your 'positive energy' can not be stifled....your strength and courage will prevail as you rebuild.

Hollywood Reporter @thr .@courtney Love, @haileesteinfeld perform and raise money for @glaad #SpiritDay thr.cm/tvaIk7 The concert raised more than $100,000 for supporting LGBTQ youth against bullying. Some of music's biggest names came out to support GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, on Wednesday night. Courtney Love, Hailee Steinfeld, Adam Lambert, Troye Sivan and members of the band 5 Seconds of Summer were among those at GLAAD's fundraising concert, held at Los Angeles' The Sayers Club. Interesting that Adam's name is not mentioned in that tweet... but on the big scheme of things, I realize that I should not get too huffy about it.

momtomany , you are a very precious soul. I have only met you a few times in passing, but it feels good to know who you are. I am so glad that there is a light at the end of the dark tunnel for you and your husband, and for many other folks up there. Getting "ready" for QAL should be a nice distraction for you. Best wishes.

Yes, I'm already very excited about our journey to Munich and Vienna and the concerts!!! But at the moment I'm also very angry! I tried to sell my two QAL-tickets for Prague also over Facebook, and after I already had a "normal" conversation with a young Czech guy since yesterday about how to arrange everything with the tickets, he suddenly told me that I should "F... myself"! How nice! Seems that he only wanted to fool me! Just ja VERY big

momtomany ... what a heartbreaking video! It's so scary to see the power of those big fires and so sad to see the devastation they caused! I admire you for your strength and your positivity, and I'm really glad that you have the journey to London and the concert to look forward to! I hope the journey will at least be a little distraction for you in your difficult situation at the moment! Much love to you!

You have such a great attitude through all this heartache. So glad to hear you were working on your passport, I've been thinking about that and wondering if that was one of the tables setup downtown to help people get those - I was sure you would figure out a way to go, and I'm thrilled. What a good plan you and hubby have for a trailer while you rebuild. My brother and his family are moving in with me next week because they have had 0 luck in finding anything to rent around here as you can imagine - there was very little available before this and now, nonexistent. I suggested the trailer idea to him but he's not that hardy. That community meeting was tough to watch tonight, so many people are hurting, scared and angry, heartbreaking. That video you shared was powerful, I had seen parts of it but not put together like that with music, wow.
