I would be beyond thrills if Adam was part of the cast of JCSS. I only foresee one problem: In the role of Judas he would outclass every other singer. I believe that Jesus is supposed to be the lead character. Oops. Maybe Adam needs to be cast as Jesus instead of Judas to keep the focus on the lead character. Hmmmm.

cordellcullie: I can confidently say, this was the best night of my life ❤ To have the privilege of seeing two of my idols in real life tonight, being bloody amazing on stage and giving their all, enjoying themselves and doing themselves proud, was an absolute dream come true. I've been a fan of Queen since I was so so young and to see Brian and Roger tonight was incredible, I may have cried only four times, when I saw Brian's hair for the first time, twice when they showed Freddie and once during Brian's guitar solo, I choked up at how amazing and influential and HUGE these men are to do the music industry. Can I mention how bloody close we were too, I couldn't quite cope with Rogers Santa Claus beard 😫 I also have found some new respect for Adam tonight, his voice is immense and I respect the fact that he isn't trying to replace Freddie, and he doesn't want to. Amazing, amazing night, that's one thing crossed off the bucket list, I can sense some after concert blues setting in 😫❤

bigredguitartech: Today's job. #queen #loadin #localcrew #gizzajobmate www.instagram.com/p/BcbsvScleFP/?taken-by=bigredguitartechbigredguitartech: Today was pretty special to me in a lot of ways. Queen have been my favourite band ever since I first heard 'Another One Bites The Dust' at 4 years of age, almost 36 years ago. I was too young to get the chance to see them with Freddie and I've purposely held off seeing them in various incarnations since they resumed touring again over a decade ago. Tonight was a revelation for me, not only in getting to see @brianmayforreal but also my absolute drumming idol and main reason I picked up a pair of drumsticks, Roger Taylor. It was clear watching Brian sing 'Love Of My Life' that he misses Freddie immensely and it was a touching moment. The cherry on the cake was getting to pack his gear away after the show and snaffling a couple of souvenirs from his tech, Pete. Finally, it must be said that Adam Lambert was absolutely flawless. He hit every single note with ease and is definitely the right man for this job. Thankyou guys, it was an absolute pleasure and a night I won't soon forget. #queen #adamlambert #brianmay #rogertaylor #sheffield #localcrew www.instagram.com/p/BcdrR9elbHC/?taken-by=bigredguitartech

I'm rusty on my recollection of the whole album. I went to a R. Catholic high school between 1968 and 1972, and I seem to recall that the required religion classes discussed the album and Judas' role in casting doubt on Jesus. I believe remembering that the Judas role was pivotal. Now I have to re listen. Those were the days. On the senior class trip to Williamsburg, VA, the nuns had to deal with a cancellation of a trip to a local theatre production of The Four Posters. On short notice, tickets to a Jethro Tull concert at William and Mary were substituted for 68 women students and 4 nuns. We spent the next few weeks analyzing Aqualung in religion class. P.S. The following day, we had lunch at a hotel before going to Thomas Jefferson's home. The Beach Boys were at the hotel. Mike Love managed to get on one of the buses to Monticello. The nuns were not pleased and sent him packing.

There has been duscussion that he DID get Jesus because he IGed a photo of Ted Neeley, who played Jesus in the movie. That being said, it is the opinion of most JCS fans that Judad has the best songs.
